DEVILOOF Gt.愛朔 (aisaku) has departed on 8/31 due to differences in direction.
Thank you for your continued support of DEVILOOF.
We want to inform you that Aisaku has left the band as of August 31st.
We deeply apologize for this sudden announcement to all the fans and people involved with DEVILOOF.
The reason for this decision is differences in the direction we want to take the band and how we think about the band in general.
Although we will be walking our separate paths, we ask for your continued support for Aisaku and DEVILOOF in the future.
As for DEVILOOF, we will continue on as a four-piece band.
Good. He’s my favorite member and would be awesome in any other band of that ilk whether it be metal core or death core or anything else. His music tastes like Rings of Saturn and Infant Annihilator would fit perfectly anywhere from DEXCORE to NINTH IN PLUTO to QUEDDESHET, Divinitist, Dead Man Walking, VoD, even slamming death metal like WORLD END MAN if they need a rhythm guitar or something.
This might be harsh and a hot take but who really cares about this band anymore? They had two shots at two EPs after going major and both sucked/were super generic. And now a member is leaving.
What are they even doing? Are they still just goofing around on social media?
I would say if they release one more song and it sucks too, its the final nail in the coffin.
someone spill the tea, what was the beef between Kanta and Aisaku? Ai-chan jealous of Kanta’s fans/popularity? Was Kanta trying to steal a girl Aisaku wanted? Fill me in Tanuki!!!
Also, that might explain all the weird post Aisaku has been making
Kanta says it in his comment, Aisaku basically didn’t like how Kanta was doing his social media, his Youtube channel, etc. Since Deviloof is Kanta’s first vk band, Aisaku was basically showing him the ropes when they joined together and teaching him how to express himself as a vk bandman, but when Kanta was doing his own thing, I guess he didn’t really like that.
idk I don’t really follow them, but that’s the gist of what I got
It’s literally in the breakup announcement. He basically says that at the beginning Aisaku said that the best thing was to be yourself but when he decided to actually be himself with YouTube Etc Aisaku started to give him more and more negative comments and that he got really confused how his beginning advice and all of the negative comments that he was getting weren’t really lining up with each other.
