DEVILOOF Gt.愛朔 (aisaku) has departed

I think it was just health related

as far as I knew, it was because he was wearing contact lenses, and his passport was withheld.

I don’t know if he’ll join another band

It’s not the best thing to do to post things someone is telling you in DMs on a public forum. I suggest you keep that stuff to yourself it’s pretty disrespectful imho!

Best practice imho is we should always talk in this forum as though the people we’re talking about are reading it!

I hope he joins another band, his guitar skills are gold

Can confirm that there are a large number of visitors from Japan lurking on us regularly.

Speaking of lurkers, even JROCK ONE haters from MH lurk on us on a daily basis with and without accounts because their communities have nothing to read to keep them updated with the scene.

I see, that’s interesting!!

Aw I’m sad to see him go, but I hope he continues on solo or joins a new band. He has so much potential, I would love to see what he does next!

So you got caught? :laughing::laughing:
Nah, but it’s true

So now I am gonna wonder, will Deviloof continue with one guitarist or will they take a new one in?

Gettin Dimlim vibes over here.

aww he deleted his twitter (and instagram?) account :frowning:

Oh wow then he’ll resurface soon. Probably archived them.

Wouldn’t be surprised if he leaves the scene entirely. As someone else said, his tastes line up with bands that aren’t well represented in visual kei.

I said that xD I could totally see him in a metalcore band in six months time.

It’s too bad, my taste in musicians is usually artists who are from another scene or some coming into vkei, finding a band who’ll work with them, and stretching outward the limits of what all can fall within the vkei umbrella

But one way or another, that usually ends with them getting ejected and bands falling apart like those simulations of three body problems.

I actually never really liked Deviloof that much tbh, they weren’t a frequent listen for me, but i think having them around was a real challenge to the scene at large that made some bands i like better adjust to stay competitive.

Not many artists are that exact mix of determined/delusional to just tase themselves on IG, call that marketing, and have it WORK!

Ah i’m talking about the band like they’ve disbanded, but i got the sense a lot of their composition came from Seiya and their identity/direction from Aisaku.

But i’m always happy to be proven wrong, and personally hope both parties stay working in music, vkei or otherwise!

This next release is going to make or break this band. And sadly, I have a bad feeling that it’s gonna reflect badly on the rest of the heavy bands in the scene. Like “oh this premier heavy band can’t keep their shit together, the rest are likely as unprofessional”. These guys need to come back with some solid riffs and song structure with precision timing.
