Will get this for sure. Most of the songs since the last physical release have been pretty good so this should be decent.

The album title is “WE WERE HERE” and it releases on April 23rd.
The album will have 16 songs, including: THE LIGHT (Album ver.), Savior (Album ver.), SKINDEEP, Still Alive (Album ver.) and PARAMNESIA.
The DVD will include a performance from DEX FEST. -2024- at the Nagoya Diamond Hall.

There sure will at least two SE’s, but 16 Songs sounds massive. I’m looking forward to the track list. ^^
I don’t see Maki joining, he’s good integreated, but it Looks like he enjoyes his freedom of choosing the projects he wants to play for.
Sweet. Wasn’t METEMPSYCHOSIS really long too? I remember it being like 16-17 songs.
Depending on which version… the way I have it in my library is three discs and a total of like 33 songs. I think the album proper was 17 songs tho!

Yeah, METEMPSYCHOSIS has 17 songs. There was additional CD with re-recorded 16-18 songs. And… Minialbum -18- has 9 songs (without instrumental) that’s 39 minutes (without instrumental).
This MINIALBUM is longer than Blackpink ALBUM heehee

Like always, i genuinely don’t understand the excitement around Dexcore. They play the very basic metalcore-ish songs with little creativity. They are precisely the case when Western bands did it long ago and better.
The excitement of Japanese fanbase is easy to explain — if you listen to the interview of the guy from Crystal lake / Knosis and that guy from Survive said the prophet, you will learn a lot about the heavy (like metalcore/deathcore heavy) Japanese scene. Even the overall non-existence of it in 2010 when the Western scene was flourishing for god knows how many years already. So the scene is relatively small even now, and Dexcore fill it quite well.
Even Jiluka and Deviloof add their own touch musically to their stale genre. Dexcore remains a carbon copy since Naoki left.
