sure, it really isn’t “all good” when you paint a picture of Polish crowd being “SO BAD” on a public forum. taking into account the amount of people from all around the Europe that attended yesterday, such a generalization is a really shit thing to do and is completely out of touch.

And look at that, right on cue.

I can’t remember when people started hating Polish DEG crowds. It’s become a meme at this point; but I remember on MH and other forums people venting their frustrations with the experience over the years.

If I remember correctly, there was one tour in particular where people were very upset at the crowd, but for the life of me I can’t remember which tour that was.

I didn’t have any issues with the crowd, concert was fun :woman_shrugging:

I don’t think it’s that widespread. On twitter I’ve just seen positive reactions except some people asking about how so many people are filming. I don’t remember the filming from past years either, and I think once people saw that one person got away filming, everyone jumped on board. I took advantage too and got the final, merciless cult and kodou filmed.

So, from what I understand, they used 6string guitar/4string bass for the main set and 7/5strings for the encore? Then it kinda makes sense for them to play OG The Final.

I find this very irrtitating as well. I don’t remember moshpits in the many germany concerts of Dir en grey. Maybe they were there and I just don’t recognized them. But I have been in front rows at least twice. And to be honest… for me that’s a good expierence. I just don’t see the appeal in doing it  please don’t mosh me, I am petit :smiling_face_with_tear:

To all the people getting on disposan and his comments about the Polish crowd - yall need to chill out a bit. Just because you all don’t agree, that doesn’t make his perspective any less valid. There’s a lot of people here who appreciate his live report. If you guys are so worried about the perception of Polish crowds, your time and energy would be better spent providing your own live report instead tearing into another’s.

I’m sure there are many others here that would appreciate hearing about your live experiences, too. And if you still want to disagree, that’s fine, but there are more civil ways to go about it. So stop with all the unnecessary nastiness.

“Selling my Kyo original autograph, 300 Euro.”

“Dude, that’s just some dots”

such a weird choice to end with アクロの丘

to the people that went. how was that transition?

Btw, confirmed that Kyo was wearing a paper bag on his head when handing out the autographs.

Apparently the paper bag was a different one from yesterday.

As expected, D-2 was a blast.

You could definitely feel that many people were less familiar with the material though, and imho the ending was a bit of a letdown… Not sure why we got repeat songs at all, surely there’s enough discography to do different set lists for both days?

Stuck Man went HARD. The audience were feeling it. My personal highlight.

OTOGI.
Oh, and I may finally hear Hydra 666 live.

Doukoku, Gaika and reiketsu goes hard

As a Polish, i can say, Today’s setlist was more timid friendly
I could stay alone in the corner and i haven’t felt akward

I thought today was sick throughout, and who knows since my karta polaka was just denied on this board, it’s probably optics from different parts of the venue, and today I was on the Die side, but also I had this feeling that these Uroboros era songs are performed so well compared when I saw them over a decade ago. This is really Dir en grey in peak form, and they’ve probably ever performed so tight and theatrical in Europe. Kyo especially nailing literally every note for Inconvenient Ideal with ease is something else.

What I was surprised by is for how many people it was their first deg show despite being weebs for a while. I even met people for whom it was their first vk ever, in addition to metal-affiliated people who’d seen just MUCC or something back in the day. There’s a sense that for this tour there was a lot traveling.

Hydra and Otogi were nice surprises, but the repeated encore was a slight letdown. I was kind of hoping for a chance of a second encore but the lights are turned on in a way that any prospect of that is smothered straight away

bruh just to end this nonsense from my end, there is a difference in saying “I did not like how the crowd was acting/reacting/whatever” and saying “polish crowd is bad” and putting everyone in the same bag. @CAT5 to see that borderline xenophobia is somehow being justified is an extreme let down and I can admit that the ‘nastiness’ is coming mostly from me, but maybe, just maybe it’s a natural reaction to see your culture being shit on. I can also understand it was just unfortunate wording and just a subjective opinion, but let’s read the room. that’s all from me on this mess, glad you enjoyed the show tonight.

No, I’m sorry, I’m just exaggerating, because it’s just how we talk in my neck of the woods. The show was great and I didn’t meet a single person who didn’t like it, or complained about anything in general. I’ve just liked the London and Berlin shows better in the past, but these were my favorite PL shows, which I’ve been to since I’ve lived here for like a decade. But yeah, I don’t mean to put down the country with hostility.
