I wonder which song will be the one to promote the album like Perfume of Sins was to Phalaris.
Also, any guesses on wich song will be this album long-boy (think Diabolos, Vinushka, Macabre etc.)? Almost every album has an long-boy

At this point, DEG is established enough where they take an unconventional approach. And honestly, one single isn’t all that strange. Personally, I’m excited to get an album where I’m only familiar with one song. Also, the Gazette has released albums with no singles and did just fine
The AI thing is unlikely, but the thing is we’ll never know. Especially if the band is performing the songs anyway. Like I just don’t think Kaoru sat at a computer, typed in some prompts, hit generate, then called it a day. We still don’t know any real details of the deal they made with that AI company, so I think jumping straight to “they used AI to make the music” is a bit extreme.

In this age where so many bands put out 5 or 6 singles before an album drops, imo ruining the experience of hearing an album all the way through for the first time ever… yeah, I’m PERFECTLY happy to have heard only one song before going in to this album. I want it all as fresh as possible

I was going to say exactly the same thing. Getting an album where half the tracks were singles isn’t that fun. I’m really hoping the album delivers, but it’s kind of exciting not really knowing what we’re getting.

Same feeling as when they spoil the movie in the trailer or have a bunch of trailers that basically spoil the movie by the time it comes out.
