Yeah jrockers/Vk bands use of AI effects is getting out of control. I wonder how long this fad will last. It has such a shallow look to it. Maybe its only me.

I’m pretty neutral on AI look when it’s done right (ethics of creating AI content aside) but this is just outright ugly and let’s just say if we assume they are struggling with hiring 15 actors to throw bussay around in skintight pastel pink suits like just wait until the tour cheques start arriving and shoot the video later?
or like make it with less figures, Kyo with a clean shave clowning around with a pink sock on his head will surely get the same message across???

Yeah the concept is quite terrible actually. They probably wanted to surprise the fans but it looks really ugly, like you wrote. A dud. Hopefully the song and whole PV can make up for it.
Also is that symbolism for giving birth there at the last scene?

none of their recent videos were particularly clever or thought-provoking, and the beautiful visuals that ranunculus video had are traded for AI mess
I actually dig all the pink color choices but the ugly models (when Asia is a literal hub of CG outsource studios) and the reliance on AI to fill in the action bits just kill it all for me
it’s giving 2003 ps2 levels of cringe CGI back when their actual videos shot in 2003 were one of the best in the entire VK scene

The worst thing is how poorly the bandmember often get placed into the scene in a way you instantly recognise there is no connection between the background and the person even when the AI vomit could have been otherwise at least realistic enough to do that job. ugly is it still.
But there was no effort for the movie even beside the AI.
