Well there is a lot of pretty random stuff in Japanese media so wouldn’t surprise me if that was the case. Maybe people over there are just happy to settle with things that dont make a whole lot of sense and just take things for what they are. Just thinking of tv shows, games, books, movies etc… that all contain stuff which doesnt massively make sense but is still super popular.
I don’t think it’s very likely to die from a fall from third floor, tho.
If someone wanted to imply this, wouldn’t 903 make more sense? Or 704 … 7 being also a number associated with death.
Building too tall ruins the vibe.
Are you mad? Most houses are a ground floor and first floor. Getting to the third floor would basically be the size of two houses stacked on top of each other, thats pretty high. Think about the amount of damage youd cause yourself jumping from the roof of a house and then double it. Haha.
Just a reminder, in 15 minutes this livestream starts: https://www.youtube.com/live/y9IQ1uFoWpQ
In Japan ground floor is the same as first floor, tho. Third floor hight is about 13 m. That can absolutly be fatal, especially if the ground is concrete but if there is softer ground (plats, mud etc.) this can be survied. I don’t know the odds but I personally would have picked a higher floor number if I wanted to imply how fatal it is.
The height of the hospital room is irrelevant, because hospitals don’t typically have windows that you can open up, much less jump out of. In fact, the windows in most hospitals are bullet-proof and shatter-proof, so good luck trying to break one.
I always interpreted the lyrics of 304号室、白死の桜 from the perspective of a elderly dementia patient, dying while surrounded by family in their final moments of lucidity. The number 304 itself is ominous, reinforcing the death motif, but I don’t think it goes any deeper than that. Cherry blossoms are a metaphor for the fleeting nature of life. 304 gives off the same kind of vibes as the number 13. I see no references in 304号室、白死の桜 about jumping out a window.
304号室、春と僕 continues the theme. There’s a theme of death, but not one of suicide.
The other songs that begin with 304 have wildly different lyrics, all of which are depressing of course, and one that hints at self-harm, but nothing about jumping out of a window. When I think about jumping out a window, my mind goes to Wake/Riyuu.
By the way, 白死 in Chinese seems to be a word for “senseless death” or “dying in vain”.
Kyo posting the catwoman was funny. I had the impression that he was always just posting boring generic, almost robotic crap on sns, that or some edgy teenager philosophy ![]()

Kyo is becoming more of an blorbo with each new kyopic we get. I wonder what will be his final form
I fully belive he just leaves his house to buy groceries looking like that
I just wonder how long this bald era will last. It seems entirely dependent on how long he wants to show off his scalp tattoo.
I can live with bald DEG kyo but I don’t like bald sukekiyo kyo ![]()
the ribbons look like little hearts
He’s always changing his hair style so am sure he’ll grow it out again at some point.
This is probably the last time in his career he shaves his hair. Just a gut feeling ![]()
Hageshisa hair is best hair for sure
Why do so many people hate Sustain The Untruth??? I mean its not one of my favourite DeG songs but it isnt that terrible either…
That said, The Final is probably one of my least favourite DeG songs but most people seem to cream over it. Personally I would prefer Sustain as a set staple over The Final. Controversial opinion or nah???
