This is wonderfully put across. Itâs been a while since Iâve seen a statement this sensitively-worded. I fully respect how carefully theyâve thought through this and the message they want to bring across despite such this possibly being one of the messiest things theyâve had to handle. I am in deep respect that they also chose to hold gratitude for activities past.
Most statements are quick to just go like âyep we ditched the dudeâ. In an ideal world I hope very much we can embody this same message of empathy and compassion, but I know itâs not always the easiest thing for everyone.
But yes, a very decently put together statement in a short time.
I am right now concerned about the members whose projects have been affected, and I hope very much they will still be able to carry on with their craft.

For this particular messy situation, there were many things that everyone involved could have done better. Everyone. Yoshiatsu, Aya, Emma, and the whole fanbase.

And she especially shouldnât dump anything about this situation on another friend, maybe even younger than her, but even an experienced adult probably barely would know how to handle that. But clearly not a minor (and then being of the opinion being told that sheâs insensitive where not that minorâs right).

We are truly sorry for this sudden announcement.
DRUGS has decided to disband.
The reasons for the disbandment are as stated in the official announcement. We sincerely apologize to all our fans and those involved for the great worry and inconvenience we have caused.
Honestly, I myself am still struggling to process this sudden turn of events and am feeling confused.
Itâs been a little over a year since we announced NEW ORDER. Although it was a short period, I am filled with gratitude to everyone who walked alongside us, believed in us, and supported us during that time. Every view and every word you gave me is a precious treasure to me.
I am truly sorry that we have ended things in this way and that we have caused you sadness.
However, I have no intention of stopping my musical activities. I know it wonât be easy, but I want to explore new activities starting from a blank slate.
And I hope to continue activities that will meet your expectations more than ever before.
I will not let any of the support and disappointment I received from everyone go to waste. I will use this experience as fuel to continue facing music in my own way and moving forward.
I would be happy if you would continue to support me.

As previously announced through our official channels, DRUGS will officially come to an end following our final performance on October 2, 2026.
First of all, we would like to sincerely apologize for having to share such sudden news.
We ourselves are still trying to come to terms with everything that has happened, and we are overwhelmed with many emotions.
It deeply pains us to have to deliver this news to everyone who has supported and believed in us.
DRUGS was never just a band that existed for the past year since its official announcement. Long before our debut, all of the members spent countless hours together in the studio, dedicating our time, passion, and hearts to bringing this project to life.
DRUGS was a project conceived and produced by Yoshiatsu, who shaped everything from gathering the members to creating the bandâs name, concept, and overall vision.
After many discussions among the members and everyone involved, we ultimately came to the conclusion that it was time to bring this project to its conclusion.
This was not an easy decision for any of us.
However, what we created through DRUGS, the memories we shared with all of you, and above all, our passion for music will never disappear.
Both I and the remaining members will carry everything we gained through this band with us as we continue moving forward.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who has supported and loved DRUGS throughout this journey.
DRUGS will perform every remaining scheduled show with the utmost responsibility and give everything we have until the very end.
Although our time together is now limited, we would be truly grateful if you could stay with us until the final chapter of DRUGS.

Could someone please in a nutshell explain what happened?
Yoshiatsu was being gross and predatory with fans that are significantly younger than him.
How old is he?
