Im getting the feeling with DRUGS Yoshiatsu just wants to let loose with his ideas and not be restrained by what is or is not acceptable to “the norm” which i fully respect and encourage. I could write an essay on this but I will leave it there for now. Haha.

The songs they’ve released so far are not bad, but also nothing special. And they all sound like old Dir en grey songs somehow. Shi, seisatsu is pretty much a copy of Dir en grey’s undecided.

The first comment on the new MV on youtube is about Tsuzuku spitting fire and I thought “wow is vkei starting to incorporate more rap? nice, let’s see how it goes“ then I saw it was literal fire spitting! Great aesthetics, I’d look forward to seeing more fire arts in the scene for a fresh breath of air. (he he)

Then I kept thinking “they’re gonna burn the mannequin in the center, right? …of course they will, it’s vkei after all“ and I couldn’t stop thinking of Slagmaur’s Inferno Metal Festival 2017 shenanigans (when they had a professional stuntman on an inverted cross that was set on fire). It made huge waves at the time in the metal scene, I wonder if they were inspired by it or it’s just a stylistic coincidence.

Did anyone actually saw multiple reactions about him? :sweat_smile: I’m not saying he is lying but just because he wrote many people talk about him must not mean it’s true. Of course it could be true, but I did not saw lots of posts about him on insta. He might be exaggerating a bit.

Maybe this is the VK version of an Influencer’s “so many people asked me about XYZ” post :grin:

was in Crazy Shampoo and Dadaroma, now in Fukuro and DRUGS. All mid-tier bands yet anchored in VK culture :woman_shrugging: Except for Crazy Shampoo ( my personally favorite project of him ) all the other bands are fairly popular with new younger western community sooo

And I meaan, he’s talented and charismatic with a great voice and front-man charisma so there is that as well ( this one is a less objective take but oh well )

saw another VK dude on Twitter posting the same thing and gettin’ many reactions too so maybe that’s some new attention seeking trend between VK men who knows

I’m sorry, but calling his voice “great” is definitely an exaggeration for such an average vocalist.
