First Visual Kei festival in Paris will be held (10 bands, July 11-12)

708 people ahead of me on the shotgun app!

I’m at the Shotgun page right now but it seems you can only pay via credit card or Revolut pay  never heard of that.

Moi aussi!

Aaand the two day tickets are all sold out. Great. I was already at the check out with my 2 day tickets but as I neither have a credit card nor Revolut Pay it did not work on my first attempt.
I was sure payment via debit card or Paypal would be possible.

I just got into the shotgun queue (though am waiting for the venue site because i want EA) and still see 2-day passes for category 1. only category 2 is sold out!

I’m curious to see how sales will go!

I’m excited, never been to France and it’s been 5 years since I stepped foot in Europe.

The Venue site didn’t seem to have EA tickets yet? Are they being released later?

Still plenty of both 1 and 2 day tickets there still apparently.

twitter/x is so damn cancerous. i just see so many people complaining about every single thing. like if you’re unhappy just don’t go lmao. most festivals don’t even address questions! there’s a festival here named desert daze that literally cancels every single year and I see less complaints hahahaha

I was able to buy the double tickets but not the early ones, I’m seeing what we can do

I also have my tickets now after the lengthy process of getting the Revolut App and verifying it. That was by far the most annoying ticket bought I EVER did.

Feeling exhausted now and just hope this Revolut Pay thingy is reputable.

They’re using an external service that provides them with 3DS etc. to protect both the consumer and themselves from payment disputes. Revolut is better for you than say, a bank transfer, because you get the possibility of disputing the charge in case the event is cancelled.

Info regarding early access tickets from a fb post:

ā€œOkay, this is how it works! ItĀ“s a little bit complicated if you bought a 2 day pass but it works. You need to put a ticket for Saturday or Sunday in your shopping basket. Then you can select the early entry upgrade option. Then you remove the day ticket but the upgrade is still in your shopping basket. Do this for the other day as well and it works!ā€

Confirming this works, just did it myself.

Got tickets for myself, my bf and my sister and some other friends got theirs as well. Everything is a bit chaotic but I am so ready for this

I don’t use Revolut personally but it’s super common in some countries, so I don’t think you have anything to worry. For anyone wondering, if you go through the french site, Apple Pay is available as well there.

I had such a hard time with my debit card, had to start over 3 times and on the third time I finally got in and had my revolut set up, and then I see the cat 1 two day-passes were sold out?? So in a panic I instead bought two 1-day passes and had to pay 20 euros more in total. And now I log on and see that the 2-day are back for sale?? By far the most stressful ticket purchase of my life up until now. Tickets secured tho, and that extra 20 euro won’t kill me.. well well

Question: is there any talk of doing like a meet up or something like that for international fans who don’t have vkei-friends irl? I’m coming alone from Sweden and none of my friends or family know what the hell vkei is:upside_down_face::upside_down_face::upside_down_face::upside_down_face:

Congrats everyone who got a ticket! I can’t wait to find out how it goes!

I ultimately decided to not go, I’m super sad (and kinda guilty) that as a longtime vk fan living in Europe I won’t be able to fully support the community/vk bands, but i can already feel how chaotic it’ll be and how stressed I’d be, especially someone with anxiety and uh not many friends to go with. I’m already feeling the missing out factor, but yeah taking everything into consideration (plus I only like less than half of the bands listed), I’ll save up more for my future Japan trip ;_;
