First Visual Kei festival in Paris will be held (10 bands, July 11-12)

The guy seems to have gone there for an ego trip… hope something good comes from it..

I mean, he’s the boss of the company, it’s not suprising to me he’s going there to work out the details and meet the artists in person, especially with an additional concert in Tokyo + livestream to plan. If anything, he seems way more involved than any previous B7 projects, I find it super reassuring to see him with Hévn’s staff and such!

Who?

Bassist from Panic Channel, betty, 176BIZ etc. ‘teriten’ used to be in some of his blog URLs in the 2000s.

Sorry I’m so dumb, I thought you were quoting my latest post lmao (But no idea, sorry  )

We finally have the details about the contest:

January 31st: Registration for the bands starts, on Hévn’s website/socials (they’ll give us a link to share with the bands)

February 22nd: Registration ends

February 25th: Hévn will launch a dedicated website where we’ll find out what bands applied

March 7th-8th: Vote starts (probably on that website)

March 9th: The five fan finalists + 3 Hévn selected bands will be announced

April 24th: Grand finale at Shibuya Rex with the 8 bands. It will be livestreamed worldwide. We’ll vote for our winner.

April 25th: Hévn will announce the winner

Ah, yeah, that wouldn’t have made sense

It actually is Tara in the photo (on the right), which is really cool. B7 should just give the 10th spot to a PanicCh reuinion lol

Wait omg this is cool!! I’ll link it up in the thread about retired bandmen.

Speaking of which, fun fact and probably known fact, Kizu’s manager was Yuui of Cindykate

If im understanding this correctly, there are two voting periods?

1.) Is on their special website to nominate the top 5. However 3 will be selected by heven mag?? I assume it’s just top 2 that are fan chosen, would be my best guess.

2.) After all 5 bands perform at Shibuya Rex. Everyone including jap folks can vote for the top band to perform in Paris

I guess they wanted to make sure heven mag has some buy-in for the contest while also having fans participate. It’s an interesting approach I guess

I low-key like the terrible graphic design for this flyer in particular.

The japanese version of this is being distributed locally i guess?

No, there’s 8 bands in total! 5 by the fans, and 3 by Hévn.

And yeah, we’ll first vote to chose for 5 bands between March 7 and 8th, and then during the live on April 24th for the winner!

I like DAMNED but they just toured Europe. I would prefer a band that never had the opportunity to travel overseas
