I think with the given slot/running time it is pretty much obvious that they have a relatively not that well known band in mind.

Also keep in mind that last spot is reserved for a starter band that is going to perform for 30mins or thereabouts. So it can be either some new-ish band with a popularity level of Azavana or not-that-popular project by hasbeens like Tzk or Takeru.
IMO, asking bands of Merry or Diaura caliber to participate would be rather insulting to them.

Insulting to play in front of so many people ? This kind of exposure is an opportunity. But i do understand they would still refuse.
Insulting more in the sense they dont need to “beg” for participation in lives. We know that Merry is far far far away from their big days…but even for them (unless it was Gara’s new project or something Tatsuro/MUCC would organize/invite), I think they will say "thank you, but we can arrange our tours/live shows without having to take part in a “big vk brohter” alike stuff.
This feels like an oportunity for bands that arent even in vk/just started/dont have a record deal.

Or who are acknowledged as not being big names. A Mamireta, Senketsu Akochan, Kaneto Juusei, Leetspeak Monsters, Zeke Deux, Gertena, DazzlingBad, etc would be good fits, even if they aren’t new new.

I’ve heard that story from a lot of people. I think it would be better if more opportunities were given to young people rather than old people like us clinging on to get the chance, but I’ve also heard people wanting me to enter, so I’m torn.

I was considering if it was around $50 USD which 40 some euros. It’s very pricey if you want to do multiple bands but I get it. I’m sure plenty of fans will still purchase.

Seems Azavana are the most optimistics regarding the meet and greet with 1.5 h for it…the rest is just 30 minutes
