J-Rock and VK lyrics can be deep and wonderful but they can also be unintensionally hilarious.
Be it plain wrong english like Ruki’s “I will walk together” or weird comparisons like the latest Jiluka gem “moving freely like an elavator” or classic Gackt, who is “cool like plastic”.
Please tell me your favorite lines that made you laugh or rise an eyebro. Any language goes but please translate if it is something other than engrish
I find Agitated Screams of Maggots honestly hilarious. Kyo is trying so hard to be offensive, but it’s all so wierd and strange that it falls completely flat
It’s the Black Flag, motherfucker!!
I wanna shout out to all the trash celebrity:
I’ll rape your daughter on your grave!
I’m gonna slash your wound just like mine
I can’t hear the voices of society anymore
Kyo is always on the “we live in a society” tightrope
I just need to share the whole thing, since this is the only reason I keep this album in the first place .

The first line of Silly God Disco by the Gazette has always been a real headscratcher for me, because I can usually figure out what meaning they were going for or how the translator went wrong, but
“It is cheesed with power
And the morality of which it goes mad”
How they ended up with “cheese” as a verb is truly mystifying.
I can only guess something to do with being annoyed as in ‘cheesed [off] with power’. And being annoyed at power is moral madness Other than that who could say?
