(How the lyrics turned out the way they are? Poor language knowledge and crappy AI translations. I guess that goes for most of the lyrics that seem funny (if I look at stuff I’ve been posting to my LJ in the early days I’ve been writing there I cringe a lot as well and it’s not like I’m always finding the best words to express what I want to even now).)

From Nightmare’s “Quints” sounded kinda funny at first, but then I realized that song was a straight jab at Avex so I felt bad for laughing. Actually Yomi’s english can sound funny sometimes too but I love him for it.

For me the thing with Quints is that it almost sounds like a nursery rhyme where you count to 5. Also I keep hearing “everything” as “if we sing”. But I learned to really enjoy it plus criticizing Avex is always ok
If you wanna hear Yomi butcher English listen to his cover of Friend Like Me from Aladdin. Its completely in English and unintelligible

For me it is Distress and Coma by The GazettE.
In 3:47 lyrics are Koko de. But it sound like kokote which is very rude word my native language (Czech), so it is like Ruki swears at me and even in my native language. I do not know why but it seems funny to me

To this day I’ve never been able to actually hear it, but apparently the words “reckless driving cucumber” exist, in that order, in Filth In The Beauty by The GazettE. Remembering it always makes me giggle.

Apparently the lyrics are “reckless driving memory” but ruki sings “reckless driving cucumber” (or vice versa- its 2am here and im too exhausted to check my gazelore so someone pls correct me if its wrong!!)??? i hear “memory” personally

Also, similarly to sekui, some words end up being funny in my native language (portuguese), like “koko” means poop xD

I don’t have a physical copy of the album so I can’t check the lyric booklet but google says the line is cucumber. I’m just curious how it ended up in the lyrics in the first place, like is the japanese word for cucumber a slang word that’s been autotranslated or something.
I don’t really support AI picture generators but man, that’s a prompt that’d probably have funny results

I just checked the booklet. It does say “cucumber”

He also says cucumber in MAXIMUM IMPULSE.
Even the translator has no idea what he means by that.
