This coinciding with what appears to be a delay in whatever “The Winter” was supposed to be is telling that is legitimate,
and, well, there is only one member in the band with enough leverage and stakes in their sound to most likely be at the root of this issue.

Oof. ‘Ruki’ was what came to mind initially as well… but on a second read through, this sounds like it could easily be coming from the label.

They haven’t been shy about airing out label managent grievances in the past in the oblique way that Japanese people tend to do those things.
Another one that came to mind is their arrangement with PSC if this is still a thing.

I guess it could have been worded better like “I’m not letting anyone outside the band to destroy the Gazette” to avoid creating “bad” rumors.

I don’t think its a in-band dispute as publishing this kind of stuff is addding flames to the fire and makes It harder to fix if made public.
I feels like business stuff. I don’t think veterans like this would be airing internal beef this way.

This idea, that it’s about Ruki, seems unprofessional/classless. I won’t consider that possibility, as they usually address past issues in formal interviews. It feels more like a business or label issue.

Wish I could see the original Japanese but I can google it later. I think contextually it’s probably the label pressuring them - it’s always the d**kheads in suits pressuring the artist and I know the band is so important to all of them I can’t see any of them taking to twitter to shade other members or whatever.
I’m also obviously dying to hear their new material but they also really, really need the grace and patience given recent history. Makes it even more annoying to think the label is being how they’re being. (Allegedly)

Doubling back. Apparently the GazettE is now trending (at least on my twitter TL) and there’s been more context provided. Ruki also alluded to something similar in a recent MC. And Kai seems to be expounding on that in the tweet. So this for sure could be a label issue.
On the bright side, Aoi just got a new Custom guitar of his released!

I agree this is likely venting toward the label. The Japanese fan response on twitter has been really strong in support of Kai and the band. Lots of calls to keep supporting them and stand strong behind them.
I’m sad to see speculation about this being toward another band member, it’s clearly not if you know this band.
Whatever is going on, it will become clear in time but for now, let’s keep supporting the guys ^^
