Hi, everyone. I’ve stalked this site quite frequently the past couple of months and finally decided to make an account. I’m quite nervous and unsure of what to say :sweat_smile: but I’ll do my best to introduce myself properly.

My name is Mitchell and I’m 17. I became interested in visual kei in 2021 when I heard Dir en grey - Different Sense for the first time (happy 12th anniversary to Dum Spiro Spero by the way).

Despite only just recently getting into visual kei, I’ve been into j-rock as a whole since 2015~16. Of course I have a preference for metal, so naturally I’m enthralled by bands such as Asunojokei, Dir en grey, Deviloof, Deathgaze, Endless Dismal Moan, Fact, Jiluka, Lynch, etc.

Outside of the metal/loud kei stuff I enjoy electronic/industrial acts like Blam Honey, Gpkism, Schwarz Stein, and Velvet Eden. I’m also quite fond of Nagoya kei, so Deadman, Kein, and Kuroyume are on my list of favorites as well!

Hopefully this wasn’t too long of an introduction. If anyone else has similar taste, I’m eager for music recommendations! I’m excited to be part of this community and learn more about the Japanese music scene in the meantime ~ :slight_smile:
