I feel like I’m the type of person who likes imperialist Japan because of the aesthetics, its probably why I didn’t mind Grand Guignols controversy thing.
I honestly don’t get why they decided to disband the concept of Grand Guignol seemed better than this new Mukade band
you said it yourself : The " concept " aka aesthetics without mindful and engaged matter aka pompous poseurs. In big 2026 you don’t use hystorical events as concepts for your 10 places selling band, in the country you live in, where the said events happened and still have effect on people.
Liking certain aesthetics or not is up to each themselves. The members previous band disbanded for a reason. But the thread is there to write about the current project, so if we could get back that please.
A lot of bands do that. I guess it is a mix of drum recordings being the most expensive aspect of recording in a regular rock band setting and there being generally a trend for drums VST designed for levels of Heaviness you could not archive with a regular recording.
Drums still play an essential role in live performances tough and can not simply be replaced with playback so a drummer is still important for live performances.
GG never had an official member, it was Junya ex Raymei as support, who is now the official member of Mukade, so it’s surprising he decided to work with them again considering he was the only one to actually give an actual apology when they screwed up
