Some men, in falsetto voice or as a result of certain rare physiological conditions, can sing in the same range as women. These do not fall into the female categories, instead called countertenors within classical music.

I thought that might explain the way he sings, i dont know how his talking voice is, but i suppose it wont be a deep voice already (you can actually read it up on wikipedia)

You can hear him introduce himself in at least one interview on youtube. It actually sounds like he’s putting that voice on a little bit even when speaking but it’s notably lower than when he sings

Feather is a notable improvement, yes! You can actually hear his voice now, and it sounds less vocaloid-y. I also appreciate that section at end with just his voice in the lower part of his range.

This song made me appreciate his clean vocals.
They are so interesting. Like they are somehow feminine but still not female. It matches so good to the general VK Aesthetic

Solid classic VK style ballad. Sounds good.

you just described every visual kei band

I don’t understand what you have commented.
Why do you have these two thoughts about this band?

have they actively said something against LGBTIQ people or did they just not cared about it?
to be honest I don’t completely understand the problem. (I haven’t read the interview completely for now though)

Still confused, did they at some point claim that lgbt support was their aim?

I’d say the assessment of the interview is correct, the answers are typical. Was there a reason to think they WERE different from a normal VK band? Or is this somehow based on IT’s style and the conclusions everyone jumped to?

Maybe I’m missing something but I couldn’t find anything in the interview about them just wanting money or supporting the LGBT+ community. Is there something the readers missed? It just seems a bit unfair that you’ve put this expectation on them to expand the world of LGTB+ and then claim they only care about money.

Shocker, its almost like all those corporations that change their profile pictures in June only to quickly dispose of them once July hits.

Also, how come no one has figured out this dude is using an pitch shifter? If Ryo can pretty much sound like the vocalist of Babymetal, how hard can some budget kei queen falsetto be to achieve?

The hard bigotry of high expectations.

i don’t understand those that are like “i don’t get the hype” etc. if they were an under code band in the past y’all would stan smh

they sound like there’re 3 different vocalists doing the clean parts - a female singer overdubbing the first PV and parts in other tracks, a vocaloid of some sorts, and singer’s voice filtered and pitched out.

this has somehow topped the levels of cringe that idol v-kei bands have brought to the table over past couple years, he (or, sorry, it) should have stuck to having Mana-sama vocal presence and just stayed actingfunny like a mascot or something.
