New band "THE LAST ROCKSTARS" has formed!

I regret to inform all of my fellow Last Rockstars that it is, in fact, “Bigidin Bigidin ban ban ban”

Whats up with that “paris remix” thing, he was there once and adjusted some things and just wants to make it sound cool?

presumably there will be another mix eventually

it used to have a different, simpler studio mixing, and no female vocals, when they first debuted PV snippets during the first interview for TLR.

I’m the #1 last rockstars fan

ur gonna have to fight me for this title

OK honestly I like the song. Sure it isn’t much. Nothing we never had before, but still.

Great piano plays (as expected) and an outstanding voice (to be expected as well). I guess Sugizo and Miyavi will have their time in upcoming songs as well.
I am excited.

Also, Yoshiki was in Paris when he did this mix; he stated this as the reason behind the “Paris Mix” title add. I’d love to hear whatever version was the version played in the original samples from the November reveal.

haha , Give a good show, huh

Found these while wandering through YouTube

You’ve got to hand it to their marketing team / management with their cellphone camera policy allowing fans to record in Japan was a great move. Fans filming at a concert brings more hype /excitement / marketing to a band and surely will get people more excited to see them live if they ever perform again.

Update:

Yoga-shiki shares his routine …without the fans it wouldn’t have been possible to do those stretches.

I wonder how that name is spelled in Japanese, katakana or is his name registered as Sora?

Would you guys call that a solid pre show routine?

Miyavi commenting “:metal::metal:” under that post is the funniest shit

It’s Saturday so it’s soccer day, but later I’ll download and watch the LA show and the YOSHIKI Channel post show video.

I don’t understand why, but the audio and the video quality for the LA show is way better than the show broadcast on literal television in Japan. Feels like they’ve got it down now, HYDE is enunciating properly and everyone are in sync.

A lot more MC than the Ariake show, YOSHIKI even laid on the piano and talked for a while and he had MIYAVI explained the delay due to technical difficulties and not YOSHIKI for once. The ocean of phones and people recording the show is pretty fucking annoying I’ll be honest. Someone threw a pair of bunny ears, a bunch of bras, and plushies. YOSHIKI got really flustered. They really love the phrase fuck and fucking.

The sound was definitely a bit more raw compared to the livestream in Japan.

The camera work and editing in the Hollywood show were horrendous though. Complete amateur hour production. I’ve never seen a live stream of a concert have so many bad cuts like:

-The backside of someone’s head (usually Yoshiki)
-A shot with another cameraman / crew awkwardly in the frame (like when Yoshiki is giving an MC)
-To a camera angle with noone in it. The live editor has one job, switch to an angle with someone in it. They cut to nothing at one point for a brief moment.
-Cutting to the wrong musician or not cutting to the right one fast enough (i.e. Hyde singing a good verse or chorus but holding too long on Miyavi)
-Shaky pit cameras

I’ve been a video editor / motion graphics person for way too many years and this stuff just makes my eyes bleed. Makes you appreciate the production values of those WOWOW lives.
