Thank you! And nice a PV premiere to look forward to, can we get a hype train going in here and then watch it together?

Who is on?! Who joins for watching it live for the first time together (with at least me…, hope more join…)

more the hype more high is the fall

we will see if this band is only scream kei at all.

Come on, let the kids have their fun

If it’s AI, I can’t tell.

The AI said: yes

Damn, it even came with a breakdown of the culprit.

atrocious lmao, esp when their PV looked nice enough and if they’re strapped for cash could’ve taken a still at random, cropped to square, and ended up with a better result.

a lot of AI image vomit has that very unnatural mixture of 3D art most generic high quality artwork and photo realism. You can spot that style very easily when you trained your eye for it by looking at much art.

Honest question, everyone:

Were slight or somewhat black metal-ish influences (music-wise) ever evident amongst certain VK bands (both old school and new school)? This might deserve its own thread though I couldn’t help but ask.

I could only recall seeing someone saying Kuroyume’s first mini-album (Ikiteita…) had some hints though the band itself IMHO was rooted more in gothic rock / heavy metal-influenced deathrock (?) prior to major deals with poppier and punkier phases.

I will be blunt but this slop is something I wouldn’t include in my musings above.

edit: nevermind, I found this Black Metal vkei - #9 by rsm_rain
