Nightmare Announce European Tour January, 2025

With the tour coming closer, I am wondering what kind of audience to expect. Back in the day ( :older_woman:) when I regularly went to VK/J Rock concerts, 90% of the people were in their teens or early twenties and the huge majority was female. With this music genre not being so popular within the younger generation, I wonder if the audience will be different now?

Also, regarding the Hamburg concert: I noticed that the location is sometimes mentioned as GroƟe Freiheit, sometimes as Kaiserkeller. The building is the same, but Kaiserkeller is much smaller than GroƟe Freiheit (I was in both of them many times before). Iā€™m wondering if it was initially planned to let them perform in the bigger venue.

Iā€™ve been thinking about this too. It will probably be a mix of younger and older fans (like us ). Iā€™m also curious about how many people will attend the Finland show. The last time I went to a VK concert in Finland was GazettE in 2016, and there were quite a lot of people. This one will probably draw a smaller crowd, and Iā€™m not even sure if the concert is sold out yet.

Well, my bet is that none of the shows will sell out (unfortunately).

For the general audience, Nightmare is irrelevant as they can possibly be. Itā€™s not DEG or the Gazette.

The only reason I actually go to Nighmare is because I wanna see a football game in London, so itā€™s two birds with one stone. If I didnā€™t have a chance to attend the game, I wouldnā€™t have gone to UK and, personally, I wouldnā€™t have gone to any of the neighbouring countries where I live just to see Nightmare.

I did it for Falling in Reverse, though

I heard from a friend that thereā€™s only 10 VIP tickets left for Paris. So maybe THAT one gets sold out in that regard(if true). But I asked a different friend how many tickets were being sold for the venue and she said that there were 900 tickets being sold for it and could go up to 1500 ā€œwith rearrangmentsā€.

Which are insane numbers for Nightmare, letā€™s be real, but the most pressing issue for me is that Alhambra, on Google only has a capacity of 600

Regarding Alhambra, last I heard, they had sold roughly 450 tickets which is not a bad turnout

Should be noted that neither friend are involved with the tour. The latter is just a fan who happens to know someone, who knows envolprod

I mean take all this with the greatest pinch of salt. I canā€™t verify any of this myself. Just saying what Iā€™ve heard

I know a few young fans who are going and Iā€™m relatively young I guess at 19. Theyā€™re all relatively recent fans too like roughly a year or less. (Thinking of young as 24 and younger) so it will be mainly grown people.

Most VKei fans are kinda old now tbf (25+). Except for like Kamijo and The Gazette who got TikTok-ified to oblivion, the crowd is mainly older folk. Kƶziā€™s concert in Chile was mostly older, despite Chile being one of the bigger countries for VKei and MM being big on TT.

At first GroƟe Freiheit was announced as the venue, then they changed it to Kaiserkeller.
Iā€™m wondering about the audience too. I feel like itā€™s the band members ages minus 10 xd

900?! :open_mouth: I donā€™t know much about the french fan scene but Iā€™m having a hard time to believe that number.

I donā€™t know the exact capacity of Hamburgā€™s Kaiserkeller but 900 people definitely wonā€™t fit in there. Then again, there is more than one stop in Germany.

Lol Iā€™ve never been to Alhambra but looking online i only see it at around 600 capacity. But on a real note if itā€™s reallt around 450 then itā€™s not a bad turnout at all. Itā€™d funnily enough be the biggest concert Iā€™ve attended :skull:

Hamburg is 700 officially. Seeing the 360 degrees photos on their homepage, itā€™s hard to imagine itā€™s more than 400 though lol

You sure that number isnā€™t for the GroƟe Freiheit floor? Itā€™s been a few years since my last visit of Kaiserkeller, so my memory could deceive me, but I cannot imagine 700 people in there.

Please take a good one!!! Itā€™ll be okay!! Youā€™re gonna see sakito in the flesh!!

PLEASE LIVE SO THAT YOU CAN REPORT BACK ON HOW IT WENT AAAAA

seeing old and 25+ is aging me infinitely :skull:

Also, if itā€™s for anyoneā€™s use in this forum, would anyone like suggestions on gifts? I thought about it while going to reply a post on reddit

Yes because admittedly most people involved in music scenes are in their early 20s at most. So 25+ is the perfect cut off for ā€œolderā€ fan.

Then thereā€™s the obvious realities like 30 not being young at all. So pointing out the age progression is important

Fuck it, bought a ticket for Paris. I know nothing about them, but I listened to the two live albums they have up on streaming services and it sounded like a good time. Vkei seems to be back in European venues, I want to support it.

i love this perspective so much! i hope lots of people share it tbh. my perspective is that i wanna support the scene as much as i can, since it can be so fleeting overseas </3 i know itā€™ll be an enjoyable show regardless!

What ticket number did you have ? So we can know how many tickets have been sold thus far.

Also if you need any information regarding the band, Iā€™m your guy. Especially with their live performances. Something preliminary is that I recommend you learn the chorus to Kyokutou Ranshin Tengoku. And in the beginning where the beat drop (idk if thatā€™s the right term) happens, youā€™re supposed to yell ā€œKakatte Koiā€ (please yell it everyone donā€™t leave me hanging)
