I went to see both Kamijo and Jiluka last year but they do both benefit from Tiktok fame, which Nightmare doesn’t. Although Kamijo was 18+ so i don’t know how much that mattered in the end. Kamijo was sold out but the venue wasn’t very big (I think 350-380?) and I think Jiluka pulled about 600. The crowd was pretty diverse at both to be honest and even at Jiluka I did not feel out of place as a certified old person (as per this thread) since I definitely was not the only one
Noted, I’ll definitively do it as for the number, I bout mine on SeeTickets, they don’t seem to be numbered, sorry
THERE IS NOTHING TOO RANDOM OR CHILDISH!!!
ok, here goes. I’m sorry, everyone, for spam!
Disclaimer: all these are just ideas from me, and it is not an exhaustive list of ideas nor the final word, so please don’t take everything I say here as the end-all-be-all of what to gift!!
Edit: Remember that the band and their staff might have limited luggage space, so it’s a good idea to gift things that aren’t bulky or may possibly present issues for them to bring back home. It’s the thought that counts!!
Sakito is a fan of Star Wars (I think specifically Baby Yoda; you can see it amongst his items), but I guess any related media or item would be appreciated. He loves potato chips!! And gummies. He’s been playing Elden Ring a lot, too. He should also be pretty ok with beer, though I don’t know what his usual go-to is… But yes, he loves his snacks (insane, given that he’s so petite). Lately, he likes 80s music from the UK (electro/goth/new wave), so if you might have something about that, that would be nice too.
Ni~ya loves his alcohol and crucian carp fishing! He’s been featured in a fishing magazine here and there. His recent birthday live last year had eels…lmao. A good alcoholic drink and some fishing paraphernalia would make a good gift. I think he also likes dogs since he drew himself so many different kinds of dogs for his birthday last year. He’s a pretty decent cook too! Maybe he’s just a fishing dad in disguise xD.
Hitsugi loves all kinds of animals, and recently, his pet poodle Zera passed…he had a chihuahua called Cocoa too, who passed some time prior I think their passings hit him very hard, so any gift that comforts him regarding that would be lovely. He also loves hide, so any related paraphernalia might be a nice touch! He games quite a bit, too, and has been playing lots of Dead by Daylight.
Ruka loves his curry rice, lmao. They had this huge plate of curry rice for his birthday. Perhaps if you have something related to it (a keychain? a recipe? a snack?) that may be good. He also had a pet dog (see his Twitter pfp). He’s very much a homebody, but I think he’d appreciate interesting trinkets or gadgets as he seems to like shopping…I will need a Ruka fan to confirm or debunk this, though.
Yomi’s a health nut and has been working out a lot lately. He also really likes Gundam, he was going to a Gundam store in Taiwan haha. Since his number one priority this year is to ensure his body and voice are in tip-top condition, besides some fitness-related thingymajigs, some soothing teas and lozenges may be a nice thought…I don’t know Yomi all that well, do I…
Anyway, I think that snacks from where you are, or even snacks or food closer to home to help them tide over being overseas for a while, is already very cool! Small or reasonably sized it would be appreciated nonetheless. Letters are always appreciated <3
so a container of traditional bulgarian yogurt for each lol i’m kidding
thanks for all the info Ni~ya really seems like a regular dad if you look past him being a bassist hottie… I’ve also thought the same about Sakito, but maybe he eats a packet of gummies instead of meals, i’d imagine that will keep you skinny
Yo yO YO that sounds amazing but of course, the reality of bringing that around might not be as glamorous or easy to keep in normal temperatures
are they in big tubs usually?
With chips being his carbs
(for legal reasons and concerned folks: don’t worry he actually eats pretty well, he’s naturally petite and probably an insane yoga master )
400gr of cow’s milk in a plastic container with the easiest lid to break sound perfect for bringing on a plane the guys will be thrilled to receive such a gift
He is also probably blessed to have a hot bod and pretty face, but I will stop lusting over him now…
Actually, I am worried for them how to bring gifts back home. If there a just small and not that many gifts, it hopefully won’t be a problem, but if the stuff is bigger and, let’s say, one fifth of the audience in every venue (but I assume it will be less) bring something they will probably have a lot of extra cost for additional fees from their airline
I don’t want to be a party pooper, but I think people should consider this. Also limitations of airlines/countries about what is allowed to import and to what amount. But maybe the people who will bring gifts are experienced and already thought about things like that.
No party pooping, this is correct and very much needed reminder since luggage space is limited. Thank you for reminding, I will edit and park that reminder in my post too!
There’s enough Sakito fans in this forum to forgive that dw I HOPE YOU WILL BE BLESSED BY HIS SLAY UP CLOSE!!
ugh i also eat chips and gummies all the time, why don’t i look like sakito f*ck my stupid baka life
Also for presents the general rules in japan often include:
-no heavy or bulky items or items that require refrigeration
-no homemade food products or unsealed food products
-no food products without a best by date/ expiry date (they might be more lenient with this one on the euro tour due to language barrier though)
I wonder if theyre going to sell cheki like they did in taiwan? I would be sooo jealous if they do lol
I had a friend who took a polaroid camera to take one with Kamijo in Cologne. To my knowledge they weren’t offering cheki but they let the picture happen
I indeed saw no Kamijo cheki at the Amstelveen show
They just took your phone for the picture btw, so I figure that if you bring a normal camera they’d take that too
Kamijo had to stare at my Babykingdom fanart for my picture lol
See you you oldies in London
That makes three of us my ass is not gonna survive the yoga he does with his sugizo yoga mat
Also I really should probably start a simp thread within the simp thread…
Also thank you for the additional advice!!
You guys think this is the official merch for the tour? This will defo be at the Shinagawa one from what I understand!
Knowing Torpédo/B7/Envol, we’ll get some basic at best, ugly at worst, overpriced merch instead, and if they do bring some Japanese merch, it’ll be WAY more expensive than it is. (Exemple: the KAMIJO blu-ray sold 90€ by Envol during last year’s EU tour, when it’s 60/65€ on CDJapan)
I want a drawstring backpack Hopefully they have some.
I’m still super sad that I can’t have one from lynch.
So interesting. But i do hope they also play some of the classic favourites + wildcard choices as well!
I mean, it says official goods for “The WORLD TOUR” so I assume this is what’s going to be sold
