Wasn’t that in 2009?
No cause I would have to take 2/3 more consecutive days off since they’re not coming to my country I would have to book a flight+hotel and all that…damn it, my dream was within reach and I can’t make it true

Alright, I don’t remember that.
I’ve been to their live on the 21st.
And to their signing at Saturn (Europa-Center) on 2009.06.25.
So apparently they did that even twice.
I vaguely recall hi-touch is what was used in Japanese for high-five too, but correct me if I’m wrong!
Also, free meet n greets feels like a thing of the past now, but even in that relative past, when I think Screw and D=Out came you had to sign up for a mall membership or something like that. In today’s economy, feels like everything will be monetised in some way…
I have never been there, nice to know it’s good! I would like to avoid repeating the experience with Vaunusali if I can On the Rocks wasn’t the greatest either I suppose but I have to admit I didn’t quite register anything but Kamijo
Bless the animexx event galeries, too bad so much is gone already
spain!!! MADRID??
ok, lets go
Not at all! I went to Germany just for a gig a year or so back. Did meet a mate who lives there while at it but gig was the main purpose of the travel. Haha. Do it!
ääniwalli is pretty good, definitely more fitting for vkei acts. i’ve been there… 4-5 times? and the organization was always good, though the queues were never as big as what i’m assuming nightmare will have (if we go by jiluka and kamijo). it’s in quite a back-alley place too with quite a large outside area so no need to queue at the street and such.
i don’t know if it’s just my ears being really sensitive but the sound hasn’t been the best there in my experience, being incredibly loud and blown out with the vocals barely legible. don’t take my word for it though, a lot of people love the venue
god i am already dreading the queueing…it’s going to be so cold lol
Thank you for the info! I think I am over my queuing days thankfully I have queued in sub-zero temperatures from pre-dawn hours before (Dio at Nosturi by the sea, never forget
) and I absolutely do not recommend. Best of luck if you decide to brave it
I think I’ve only ever heard 3 songs from them (the Death Note theme songs and Star Spangled Breaker) but I will go to the Helsinki gig just to see Hitsugi in person
You should at least listen to Kyokutou Ranshin Tengoku (Japanese part of the tour name btw), Star [K]night, Quints, Jishou Shounen Terrorist, and Gianizm Ten. Since those songs have sing along parts that would be good to know.
They posted some changes to the ticket typs so I updated my earlier reply. Basically there is now priority entrance mentioned for Premium/VIP.
Do you wear ear plugs to concerts ? Not only do they protect your hearing but they help with the “top end” that can muddy the sound and you’ll be able to hear clearer. I wear them to every concert you can still vibe just as good
Oh lord, that Dio queue at Nosturi was something else, I most definitely did not wear weather-appropriate clothes I’m ready to use my hard-earned consultant money on early entry if there’s something like that now XD but yeah, my experiences in Ääniwalli has also been good, but haven’t been there after the renovation, I guess not too much has changed. Vibe-vise I also agree that it is very VK-fitting, really looking forward to this and hope to see VK there in the future as well.
If you dont want to queue why dont you just get there when the queue is basically gone? Haha. Remember last time Gazette came to London i got to the venue, saw a massive queue, went to a pub nearby, had a beer and when i come back there was no queue and just as i walked into the room the intro started up. + At Dir earlier this year got there after the queue had gone and still got there way before the show started so isnt impossible to skip the queue without missing half the show. Haha.
Wouldn’t that just mean you get a worse spot though ? Specifically in venues without assigned spaces.
how fucking unhinged do they think their fans are just to offer a high five, like i’ve never heard of this before
Gazette VIP was a hand towel and a handshake for their 2019 tour. My friend thinks it came to over $200 CAD per person. Many people will often just suck it up and pay, especially for a first time around.
