Hello
I know it’s a bit far away, but in 2027 we Plastic Tree will celebrate the 30th anniversary of our major label debut.
If you think of a band as a living organism, it hasn’t always been smooth sailing, as there have been many things that have happened in our lives, but if we just keep on making music and playing shows, we will soon reach the milestone of our 30th major label anniversary.
There are various theories as to the so-called musical genre, but the core of Plastic Tree has remained the same, and with the pieces of music we have created and spun through the branches and leaves like a [phylogenetic tree], we are now looking back on the path we have taken, thinking of the future to come. We wanted to look back once more and unravel the messages entrusted to us by Plastic Tree back then with each album.
We would be very happy if we could travel through time with you for about 1,000 days until the year 2027, in order to continue to grow as Plastic Tree.
New stuff was added to streaming! (No idea when, just noticed today) Shame they deleted 8 songs from Chandelier and Namida Drops b-side though. Japanese artists and Streaming service will never stop to amaze me. But better than nothing. And we’re now at four different labels uploading their stuff; Victor, Tokuma, Warner and now Universal
Traumerei is now available on streaming platforms! And another label to the list of stuff available, seems like it wasn’t that complicated, it was just a question of will.
It’s not about “wanting to,” it’s the game plan. They’re on a 1,000-day run for the band’s 30th celebration Plastic Tree: Phylogenetic Tree Live/Tour 2025–2027. This was in the cards before this tour. From what I heard, it’s been cooking for a minute, so they likely locked the rights already and will drop more albums as the tour rolls along.

I wish I could post in this thread without getting a condescending answer from you for a change. I was refering to your posts from July, saying that it would be too complicated, too many labels, blablabla.
Not even two months later, and we have stuff from FIVE different labels already. And yes it’s obviously thanks to the tour, never said it wasn’t, but that doesn’t change my point: they wanted to do it, and they obviously can. It was always a possibility, they just waited for this (good) occasion to do it.
