Yes, @ghost, yes. I am also a new convert to this wave. I’ve burned out on gAAAming and I want complete experiences I can return to on my own time, not when the game says it’s available. I don’t want to deal with servers that can be turned off or live services that are constantly changing and the result is a mixed bag.
they finally did it, they finally explained why terfs hate transpeople for bulldozing everyone into giving them preferential treatment at the expense for us all while taking sex and sex-based aspect out of the argument altogether!!!

I love how for once it’s not another bullshit demand presented as a mass-suicide threat, wheeeww!!!
happy pride month!!!

Any recommendations for some bright and fun visual Kei? Really been enjoying The Madna lately
(Please don’t recommended sug)
LM.C if you didn’t get that note.
Thank you, already have most of their discography unfortunately haha.
If you can handle cheesy, goofy themes but fun tunes then check out Jack Caper (old stuff is better) and Gravity (tanoshisa sudjfixnsidjsis whatever the fuck their name is)
I grew up on a combination of platformers, “retro” games, and dos + sandbox pc games, and fortunately those concepts still persist and evolve in the indie space. My only concern is that when the devs with nostalgia glasses like mine stop developing, will I still enjoy what the next generation has to offer? I think I might, but it’s hard to tell currently.
What’s funny/sad is with getting the existential dread relatively early, I spent years learning to know where to go on the web, trying to streamline content from various websites w/ basic web programming, and using FOSS programs to make things accessible with the fewest clicks. Now that everything is laid before me, games included, I don’t have the youthful vigor to enjoy it all as I’d like (or maybe not enough coffee.)
Here are few “bright” bands that continue to satiate my post-HAKLO needs (that haven’t gone the way of idol-group fusion like Shibuya SIXX, VINANSHI, etc.):
HOWL, RAYMEI, SPLENDID GOD GIRAFFE, Zero Hz, and GREN
The upcoming くるる might be an option, but we don’t know much about them, yet.
- Some others below that aren’t that distinct electronic flavor:
Shoudouteki CAROL, MIMIZUQ
Also vk.gy has playlists for all the new releases available on Spotify for each month (I still need to comb through those):
They are disbanded, but did you give Lezard a try?
Welcome brotheren.

Yes, I like when a game respects the player’s time. I know a lot of gamers complain about getting your bang for your buck, but like you mentioned, I don’t want to have to play to a schedule.
It’s bad news when a game’s life is tied to a server. This whole generation of gaming honestly makes me paranoid what with game discs basically just acting like a license check and you having to download the whole thing anyways. Having online checks is such a foreign concept to me and makes me wonder if companies will have the goodwill to make sure our consoles can work past server issues when the time comes where all servers will get shut down.

i feel in the minority abt uroboros being my least fav deg release. i was so over it after the marrow of a bone and i never really care about uroboros. at the time i felt they went from renaissance painting to picasso abstract and i was not sTanNing
Arche is top 3 most hated albums in existence from any genre for me.
i survived covid lol
I wholeheartedly recommend Ensoku (might not be 100% bright all the time but definitely 120% fun). ![]()

Dall-e is actually quite good at replicating Ps1/Ps2 graphics. These look like long lost games from the era
You almost were a Jill sandwich
