An awful thing about apartment complexes is that if your neighbor gets an infestation you get it too so we had to get rid of literally everything we own besides clothes and pretty much anything electronic in two days before they come to spray Monday and I have a funeral to go to in two hours. What a week in life I’d love to forget. Nowhere to lie down or sit or sleep besides the floor. That’s the minimalist stereotype and shit like this can make that a reality. At least it’s not wooden. It’s not worth having to get a new bed and move it into a new apartment so sleeping on the floor a few months is fine, done it before, but I’m getting a comforter to lie on as soon as I get the money because carpet and hard wood sucks, especially if you’re skinny.

What kind of infestation? I have a brutal mouse infestation and I see them all the time. Have yet to figure out how they’re getting in. Every time I think I’m good, another one pops up. Like last night at 4 in the morning, one was squealing because he got face planted in a glue trap. I feel for you though, you are only ever as clean as your dirtiest neighbor…in the building.
Bedbugs which is why we had to get rid of everything. Found out from maintenance that our neighbor had them and never told us and they’re easy to bring in your own place if you don’t know about it.
