So I actually got the Ace 2 and have spent some considerable amount of listening time (they’re a gift to a family member, but I still have access to them for sighted testing and measurements.) The bass driver for the hybrid configuration is flabby, but holy hell is the xMEMS Cowell tweeter monstrously detailed. It’s like listening to a Stax estat inside a car with cheap subs (not entirely my cup of tea.) It makes sense because the tweeter is literally sat right in front of the bass driver.
Still waiting for the Cypress full-range drivers to be implemented in 2024~25, but yeah, no hyperbole, groundbreaking.
I’ve always found Picture Discs to be tacky, but the rest of those variants look really cool. The day I get my hands on a nice used direct-drive turntable to actually play the damn things is when I’ll start picking up more vinyl.

When you see the name or look of a band before you hear their music. Somehow even just a band name can make me exited about them. But will I like their music?
One example for me was Kakumay. Somehow I think it’s a pretty solid choice for a band name. But i was a bit hesitant to actually listen to them. Luckily I like their mudic as well.
Also splendid god giraffe… but that is such an absurdly cute name I don’t even care if their music is good. I just need that name printed on things
the bad thing about winter is that it’s my chill season so I just lay on my bed and not want to do anything all day so I haven’t been motivated to exercise lately or get out of the house on my off days
it’s also pretty distressing when my weight hasn’t changed all this time, but at least that’s better than getting worse lol
