Fucking work, man. So tired of this shit. Working fucking sucks to begin with, but we barely have the manpower to pull through which makes it so much worse than it already is. We’re usually four adults on 70 kids, which is too few (last year they were 7 and 8 or 60 kids), but one of our adults is a 19 year old apprentice, and the other is just out of school and has no experience. Two of us have worked here for about 10 years tho, but still. This is so fucked up.
However, for the past 2+ weeks the other experienced adult has been sick, so it’s been me, the fresh one and the apprentice. And neither of them have the experience to see what needs to be done, so I am doing so much extra work.
And we’re kinda aware that the situation won’t better this year, so we’re stuck in this loop of never having enough people, and me and the other experienced worker are basically doing the work of 5-6 people. Just awful.

man i love koichi’s lyrics. they’re just. they remind me of high school in the best way. i hope he continues making music i am actually genuinely happy for him. i love all the elements he incorporates into his songs and how it’s genuinely fun for me to listen/dance to.

This is the first time I ever made a physical mixtape/CD. It’s titled:
warm souls refracting love
It’s a collection of folk/acoustic songs from mostly a variety of Japanese artists like Ichiko Aoba, Kikagaku Moyo, meme, etc.
The photos I took myself. The lavendar was grown in our backyard and dried in our home. I added some glitter pvc as a case inlay.
It was a labor of love and a very fun project.

being a boomer rly sucks and it sucks harder when u’re poor bc I want to know if anyone in my area is seeing Miku live and I have no idea where kids go for that nowadays, do kids even try to share transportation costs nowadays ??? most ppl attending are probably Old anyways and can afford to go on their own so sigh being an adult just sucks I wonder why isn’t my life over yet
anyways leaving aside that bout of honesty how the FUCK am I supposed to find people to go together to a concert and share the price of the uber in 2024. bc it’d be this much more convenient to share an uber with like 2 people than take a bus, walk around in a city I don’t know well as an autistic woman with barely a dumbphone and then figure out a way to go back past 11pm nevermind hotel fees if I were to stay the night. its just. way more expensive. way less convenient. but apparently its either going alone in an uber or nothing
