can’t stop thinking about newfoundland’s stinky abandoned fish sauce plant. someone take a road trip with me, please bring hazmat suits

Preparing something that’s due tomorrow next, then focus on releases from last year before it takes me too long for the forum’s threads. Now the year is over, so I can finally look through everything.

i can’t believe it is 2025 and people are still saying it’s impossible to have a friend of the opposite sex without it turning awkward/romantic. are people really that insecure? still? :joy:

Gackt too??

I’m sure this nonsense is coming from someone who doesn’t understand how easy to be involved in the same sex romantic relationships, sometimes it’s easier to be friends with the opposite side of the gender spectrum :smiling_face_with_tear:

i definitely saw a lot of hetero people commenting! i am straight but my friends of the opposite sex and myself are in stable relationships so i’ve never had issues but i guess people still do!

I always wonder how japanese bands manage to have such massive outputs yet here I am waiting 11 years for a new Triptykon album

Acid Black Cherry’s music has been removed from Spotify and other platforms. Once again, I’m reminded of how glad I am to own physical media :sob: I’m not sure why it was removed or if it means anything significant, tho.

Sad, but the best advice is “NEVER TRUST IN DIGITAL RELEASES” they will not stay forever available.

Buy CDs!

Sadly, CDs also won’t last forever. Vinyl can last longer with the right care, though.

Saving a digital release on your computer and other devices as backup might be the best way to preserve it.

i don’t care what happens after that

Apparently the rights to the songs changed hands. I can’t believe the 2015 free live videos on youtube are gone, i should’ve saved them when i had the chance:sob::sob::sob:

Aaah, I see. Oh no, I kind of forgot about the free lives :upside_down_face: I have one of them saved, but not the earlier ones. Some live clips are also preserved on the 10th Anniversary Live History BEST DVD, like the ones from a-nation stadium. I hope they sort this out, a lot of fans on Twitter are upset.

Honestly, I’ve never trusted Avex Music from how aggressively they copyrighted their artists… are there any sources that say who the new rightsholders are?

Yeah, that’s true. I haven’t found anything about that yet. In any case, we’ll see what this means in the long run—whether Yasu ever comes back or announces his full retirement.

This is why I never trusted Spotify and other digital platforms. Easy come, easy go. My digital library is much more stable (and easily accessible)!
