the fires in los angeles are terrifying, to say the least.
they’ve already ruined and decimated so many places i hold dear, man-made and natural alike. i know my literal home will be okay, i am optimistic about it, but seeing the smoke so close from my front door as i left was horrible. i knew it was burning things that can’t be replaced </3
not the first time i’ve felt this, and definitely not the last! ughhhh

I was just googling something and, you know how it is, sometimes you find yourself distracted and land on a webpage that is only very loosely connected to the thing you initially wanted to research. So I found myself on a german platform where people can ask questions about pretty much everything and other users can answer.
Someone asked for favourite VK bands and explained that VK is not a genre, just an extravagant style and therefore the music itself can be pretty much every genre and can be from every country. This resulted in someone answering this question with bands like Marilyn Manson, Slipknot and Cradle of Filth 
Good news: I guess with this approach VK is absolutely not dead

after 12 years i got a new phone and I feel like I don’t know how technology works anymore. how is it so fast. omg
i only replaced my old one because the usbC port doesn’t charge (i have to use wireless charging), there’s a crack at the bottom leading to some glass missing, and sometimes it just restarts… ok yeah maybe it was time

JSNDNASJSS that was us last year, 3/4 the docs called out and all the staff so we just closed. the snow wasnt bad but the ice and hills combo was awful . i had to drive some supplies to a coworker and almost drifted into a tree from trying to avoid idiots

that’s the thing! snow is fine but i don’t have an suv so ice + hill means i will slide. no job is worth your life! but still people drive like they’re immortal 
I enjoy seeing polidactyly in cats (and humans), actually. Having more than 5 fingers is crazy.
