I downloaded 558 high quality aerial photos of Antarctica in black and white, from the German Antarctic Expedition 1938/39… Now I have to scroll past 558 photos each time to get to the actual stuff I need… Neat…

Trying to go to as many gigs as possible this year and they’ve all been bangers. I entered 2025 single for the first time in almost 5 years so I’m trying to cram in as much as possible and be independent. It’s difficult but at least I’m getting outside and doing/seeing what I enjoy.

So stressed earlier this weekend as for some reason I saw my card “reversed” a payment i made to purchase some goods for a niche manga’s exhibition goods
I scurried to send an email, as I wouldn’t want to, in good conscience, receive goods that payment hasn’t been sent over for.
The company said they’ll send a payment link again, but seemed to have understood my meesage about a “payment reversal” as my card got cancelled. …and the goods are apparently shipped @_@
I panicked and said I’m happy to try again, but if all else fails, what are the next steps, etc.
Thanks to my anxious oversharing, a close friend later reached out to me that the same reversal happened to her, and what I acutally needed to do was to wait until the deduction actually goes through again at a later date…so this resulted in me writing another email telling the company that they didn’t necessarily needed to cancel the first payment and to confirm if the order was indeed sent out.
This has put two wrinkles on my forehead because I was

so stressed that a very small company has to deal with my poor mish-mash of business and normal Japanese

happy (belated) 9 year anniversary to me NOT working in a sex store on valentine’s day (Don’t Do It) (It’s a Trap)
i left in 2016 for eyeballs and have not been back since. from ~2007 to 2016 7 days a week, 10-12hr/days at that store. 75? employees came and went. terrible. insane management. i got pneumonia and still had to go to work??? by the time i went to the doctor i had a bronchitis infection too and still had to go back???
spent today eating a delicious turkey club sandwich, helping patients, and we made valentine’s boxes for staff and the doctors!! self care!! valentines is about surrounding urselves with what fits into your life and style and it can be just little things.
besides the day after is better for all the discount candy just sayin
