I have another similarity to add, NIghtmare’s “BOYS BE SUSPICIOUS” oddly reminded me of LUNA SEA’s “My Lover”. I hope it’s not just me ^^; (This one has been on my mind for months and I forgot to post it ><)

Kiseichuu by THE PIASS was used as the blueprint for BERSERKER by DISGUST.

This might be an old/no-brainer one, but the main riff of “I hate you” by Berry (and also the high lead guitar part starting from around 1:30) are very similar to “Irresponsible Hate Anthem” by Marilyn Manson.

Maybe I am reaching too far but when listening to 67¢, this one part reminded me instantly of Dame ningen by ΛrlequiΩ…
Does anyone agree? It is definitely not 100% the same, but it just made my ears perk up when I heard it

funnily enough I prefer every rip off of that filth in the beauty intro over the original

Intro.

The chorus of Curve’s Coming Up Roses was used in Guniw Tools’ Ladybird’s Sleeping Art (from 2:13 in the Guniw song). It’s still funny to be running across further Asaki rips almost 30 years on.

Lmao that sounds a lot like dame ningen

Btw, I always wondered if Nightmare’s “Boys be suspicious” is kind of a lighthearted remark to Miyavi’s “Girls be ambitious”. The songtitles are just so similar and “rhymey”.

Is it just me or does Hiro’s voice sound like Kiba’s?

Kiba

Hiro

I think it’s an older reference actually, from this guy!

In 1876, the Japanese government hired Clark as a foreign advisor to establish the Sapporo Agricultural College (SAC), now Hokkaido University. During his eight months in Sapporo, Clark successfully organized SAC, had a significant impact on the scientific and economic development of the island of Hokkaido, and made a lasting imprint on Japanese culture. Clark’s visage overlooks Sapporo from several statues and his parting words to his Japanese students, “Boys, be ambitious!” (「少年よ大志を抱け Shōnen yo, taishi o idake」) have become a nationally known motto in Japan.
