Maybe teasing release info coming out next week?

it must be so akward to do interviews when you haven’t done really anything in a year. What is there you could talk about. what you haven’t said yet years ago.

I don’t know for sure, of course, but I’m pretty certain he’s referring to their radio show they release on some Fridays for the FC. Usually they put out a fragment of it that can be listened to by everyone but the full episode is FC limited.

Starving for new stuff from these guys

There’s a lot to talk about at any point given how lengthy their career has been. Definitely plenty of stuff out there that isn’t promoting an active release. Hoping we get some tidbits about the new album soon though, can’t wait!

I just hope that it will be an album and not a single/EP
Them calling The Winter just a new release without specifying what actually it is makes me cautious.

You can see originally it said “2024 release new album” so unless they changed their mind it should be and album

To be honest, after what they have been through, even if they release just one song I’ll be happy :smiling_face_with_tear:

I just want Ruki serving brooding looks, hyper stylized models doing artsy shit, Aoi & Uruha giving out pummeling riffs like theyre potato chips, and Reita’s ghost to haunt the low end. Not a big ask.

Unpopular opinion : they announced this too early.

Yeah. Reita’s passing doesn’t help.

A more unpopular opinion is that they record an entirely different album after his death. Something that Deftones also did after Chi Cheng’s tragic car accident, which lead to coma, and eventually his unfortunate death (eerily, both Reita and Chi was a bassist) that’s why we got Diamond Eyes and not EROS. I hope it’s not true though

That’s what I also think and what also would explain why things take as long as they take.
