I agree to some extent. I like both bands similarly, but I feel like they’re becoming the new lynch. They’ve found the sound they like and they’ve now stuck to it. I’m not super hyped about this release anymore, but I’ll still listen to it.
Interesting choice of album art. I was expecting something a little more abstract.
Gas station on album art symbolizes Ruki’s cashgrab nature - he literally needs to be fueled by money to continue the trip. So, let’s think of Mass as a pit stop before something better. Or end of the road.
Oh god. First we get Ninth opening up with a mash up of every album SE, now we’ve got an album art mash up? This is all too deep for me, boys
This is so cool and interesting!
Preorders appeared on cdjapan but not many details.
4 editions, regular, with dvd, with dvd+artbook in special packaging, with blu ray+art book in special packaging.
No idea whats on dvd but i hope it is a concert, not just mv/making of.
they missed me !
The release info for all four versions has been posted. Looks like only MV and making of it will be included on the discs, with the two most expensive versions also including an artbook. I might actually splurge for the limited edition this time.

finally heard track! not suprised it does remind me of chizuru a bit in some parts and some small hints of dogma but overall i still see the whole toxic era sound in it too… and yes the whole ninth image still there…
overall not a big fan of this sound either ill listen to rest of album but im kepeing it to old demo stuff instead i overall i give new track out of 100 i say its at a 75 …
they tried doing something like undying /chizuru/derrnagement and ninth merge but this ballad i just dont see anything new but pure ninth rereuns apart form diff tuxedo ruki wesrs only diff and overall i felt the song had alot of hints of past solos did before … and sorry to say but boring track to em not even half way already closed it
i feel they got good video production but song in gener not to my liking wished went back to recording like before stacked rubbish or earlier like wakaremichi…
this is totally more numetal sounding with the electronics
the art work for mass gives me vibes of more elctronics release yes this is very diff from any gazette release yet i still hope the album is better than this track …
just checked the previews. welp, yet another generic gazette album ¯_(ツ)_/¯ i guess this would be their first release that i’m actually going to skip. don’t have time for this garbage
So far, I feel like I’ll enjoy this album more than NINTH.
(I love Disorder, NIL, Stacked Rubbish, DIM and DOGMA)
Another great album from the boys for me. They have been very consistent with the quality.
Is there no pre-order link yet for the album??
Everybody is like “muh Division/BD/Toxic bad” meanwhile they are the albums that got me into Gazette
Personally I have a much bigger problem with their songwriting than Ruki at this point
IMHO it is actually great to hear they kinda mash together modern pop sounds with heavy music like Last Song does, and it actually works.
I’m still waiting for a single or album that’s entirely composed by Aoi.
It is offensive to call this a cultural reset when it’s just grown-up gazette doing what grown-up gazette does. Some catchy tracks on the first half, then things get a bit too familiar.

Most of those songs are almost certainly written by Ruki.
Ignorant of their recent work? Yes, sure.
Offensive? No.
Am I the only one who was expecting B-sides and was surprised when they just released the title track? For an album that’s only a couple of months away, I was expecting…more. Especially for what’s supposed to be the opening track for the album. I’ll still listen to the album anyway, even though this wasn’t very convincing to me.
