I just went through my itunes playlist for gazette, and statistically, here’s how many songs I’ve kept from their recent albums:
TOXIC - 4
DIVISION - 10 (incl. 4 SE tracks, so it’s really just 6)
BEAUTIFUL DEFORMITY - 9
DOGMA - 11
TRACES II - 3
NINTH - 5
MESS - 5
which kinda got me shook because I absolutely hated the entire toxic → beautiful deformity release streak, which… wasn’t even that bad? is it time to go back to releasing mini-albums?..
also when they say they’re never going to top dogma again (which was good at the time, exceptional at times, but I barely listen to it anymore these days), and I kinda get really sad about it too.
MESS was such a forgettable, tedious release.

This is from a general “favorites” playlist I made on foobar in 2018. Basically I just made a huge playlist of my favorite songs from a plethora of different artists (Japanese and non), from which i’d then make smaller playlists with specific themes. I haven’t updated it in years because I’ve mostly been on spotify.
There are more gazette songs that I could have added, but probably didn’t due to laziness. Like, there’s no DIM on there at all…and I like at least 3 songs from the new album, pedestrian as they are.

To explain this (even though I don’t understand why they do that though):
They said they’ll do a real tour for the album that’s why they didn’t play it completely now. I guess that’s why they also go by that encore set.
The audience seemingly behaved well, they were clapping the whole live but didn’t sing along or shouted or whatever which wasn’t allowed.
Saving the best songs for last, I see.
When I opened my Instagram this popped up first. I don’t know japanese but… Is Ruki OK? The translation is terrible, but the only thing that I understood is that they stop their lives becouse of his health. (this sounds like they committed suicide)

All jokes aside, they should have played a gig yesterday. And, for some reason, they haven’t uploaded a setlist on their official IG. Did something happened during the gig (or was it cancelled at all)?

they have cancelled the performance because a band member (not clarified, but it’s assumed to be Ruki) was not feeling well; they haven’t yet decided if there will be a rescheduled performance, or they’ll refund the ticket costs to the fans.

It‘s been because of Ruki‘s health and he posted about it yesterday already so that was clearly stated.

I’m not following VK twitter, and their FB statements weren’t specific so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I really hope sis recovers soon.
I hope he does too, he’s had this issue before a couple of years back except he lost his voice in the middle of a live.
