Definitely agree with you here.
For a bit of a different reason (kinda with you on the ‘synthetic bit’) but, I’m also not big on his current music; though I will say there’s songs here and there that I do actually rather like.

okay come on now, seriously, “uncreative merch ever” - now your just looking for excuses to be overwhelmingly negative just because. Merch is merch is merch. There’s no need to pick at everything, especially when its pretty common place and standard… like merch.

dir en grey also did this (fairly?) recently; maybe that’s a thing that’s rather liked over there? It’s not that bad to have something that goes over the visually unappealing box…
I find the acrylic stands more… “why” then anything else. But I also get it too; I mean its an alternative to figurines… Not my thing, though.

The bigidin shirt has me screaming, they need to hire this guy to make their future merch.
I really like lightsticks or penlights or whatever you want to call them, especially the kpop ones when they make them pretty and/or fitting for the group. Wish those would catch on with Western groups as well…

I don’t much like it. Everyone looks really good; feels really good energy-wise. It’s just really messy to me; very headache-inducing even.
Though, I will say, it does have some really awesome, standout shots/moments in it. Mostly in the middle/second half of it.
