Finally got to the time and emotional capacity to watch this.

Super glad I got to discover this band nearly 15 years ago and introduce me to visual kei, let me know not all metals bands need to have cookie monster vocals, classic elements can be used tastefully, dedication and attention to detail can enhance the presentation of music and making such beautiful rocking music.

Until the next announcement of activities, it has been a great run. Fuck dystonia!!!

…I am going to need the blu-ray and buy the shit out of it, my eyes already hurts from the welling and all the blocky pixels of the stream is not helping x.x

Did anyone by any chance record it or know where to watch it? I’ve just found out about their concert, I thought it was a couple of days ahead. :frowning:

they will probably release an blu ray down the line

I don’t think this is supposed to happen, but it has been up for a few days without a copyright take down so…
Maybe because it is their last live they will let this video be up publically?

I was thinking about it, and the best drummer to take Yuki spot is Hibiki from Matenrou Opera

The problem is, I really don’t want Hibiki to leave Matenrou Opera

The only solution is to clone him.

My personal pick would be MARI (ex Mary’s Blood). She already has connections with the other members of Versailles in her album.

We probably won’t see who supports them on drums until a few years later whenever they decide to come back. Whoever they pick, I think it’s gonna be a good one. The drumming in members side project has always been good.

I’m thinking Hiroki from D could be a good fit as well. Since they’re ending activities soon I can see them offering him a spot if they decide to continue

Sounds like Kamijo is finally beginning to lose his voice or was he sick or something during this performance?

Yeah, I was calling that from the very beginning!

I think Kamijo knows enough people who could sit there and drum for them, but they don’t feel super certain whenever everyone else in the band really is on board.

I can think of like three semi-vacant drummers, hiroki excluded, who would probably gladly fill in a full-time member opening considering vers sighs are a major band with good sales and a relatively steady, not overly rushed, release schedule, and matenrou have imrpoved so much since last member change I just don’t see them parting ways for a good while now, unless it’s health related.

he sounds good for a direct live stream? the cracking high notes are due to lack of sound processing and studio clean-up that dvd/bluray releases get before sending to print.

I was there and from what I remember he sounded how he normally does. He looked like he was very emotional and even crying at some points during the live though, so that might’ve affected his performance
