Versailles 15th Anniversary Tour -NOBLE- announced + YUKI will retire in December 2023 + Versailles will go on hiatus

So he dropped the nugget that they’re disbanding. That’s no small potatoes, even if it’s obvious.

idk I saw this on twatter, I think he meant it was their final live with the complete lineup? i’m taking this with a grain of salt since it’s from some random english interview

their OHP has two different announcements for yuki’s departure, but no disband message is up - they ask fans to keep tabs on both band and his personal activities afterwards, but there’s still time for the dec. 14th concert when they might announce something

hizaki seems entirely mentally invested into his new idol-ish venture and jogging when he’s not living in the former aristocratique bloodsuccer glory, but I imagine 'mijo is p. insufferable to be around for too long so can’t really blame tbh.

I want hizaki and kaya to come back together.

Kamijo clearly says Yuki’s last live is the last day of Versailles in its current form

To me that one sounds less like a disbandment (specially compared to Hizaki’s interview) and more like a member’s change approach. But that could just be me trying to be optimistic about it.
Like nekkichi said, in the end there is no way for us to know for sure but to wait for an announcement on Dec 14th’s live.

They better archive it for all ticket buyers, then I can watch it back later

Streamed where and what site are the tickets on?

No details yet, it was more of an ‘announcement of an announcement’ type thing. We will probably hear more on the 12th.

I went to the Versailles live tonight. During The Revanant Choir, Hizaki slipped and fell to the ground right before the solo and did the solo on the ground. Kamijo had to lift him up during Teru’s solo. Very metal moment.

Truly one of their bests shows, in my opinion, which means a lot since their lives always amaze me. Super intense and emotional. I’ll miss YUKI a lot.

I’m amazed in how great are their setlists. All tracks are iconic and flow great into one another, there isn’t any lowpoint

I was running Google Translate through Kamijo’s speech about Yuki and Versailles. Seems like the announcement is that they haven’t made up their minds on if they are going to continue or not? lol.

That’s an absolutely lovely setlist in my opinion, but there are two things about it that caught my eye:

  1. This setlist actually lacks Aristocrat’s Symphony. Ever since Noble’s release, that song has been played at every show of their’s from what I know, and it’s practically the band’s theme song along with the Revenant Choir, so it’s quite an odd omission.
  2. Truth is another extremely odd song to be included, because it’s from their self-titled album. As far as I’m aware, no songs from that album have ever been played live (besides Prelude and Sympathia, which were only rerecordings anyways) since their reunion, and none of them were rerecorded for the Greatest Hits compilation, so it almost seems like the band wants to completely about forget that album as much as possible. For me, Truth is the best song off that album by a wide margin, especially as it holds personal importance for being both the first Versailles song I heard and, by extension, the first Visual Kei song I heard, so it’s really awesome to hear it again, and personally I wish more songs from the self-titled would get played now and then, rather than merely recycling the same setlists over and over and over again.

Not gonna lie I was a smidge disappointed Aristocrat’s Symphony didn’t get included. They played so many iconic songs from the top that I didn’t expect it would be missing until they were winding down with the encore. Great show otherwise!
