I’ve already mentioned Mitsuru Matsuoka (ex-SOPHIA)'s career as an actor here and even posted what I thought was his entire filmography. Turns out in 2002 he stared in a movie called 記憶の音楽 (Kioku no ongaku), apparently his very 1st acting gig, that’s so obscure there’s very little info about it online, but the whole thing is on YT:
This movie’s OST is composed by Ken Morioka (森岡 賢) from SOFT BALLET / minus(-)

Miyavi collabs with Yo Gabba Gabbaland, a reboot of us/canadian kids show Yo gabba gabba. He made two songs for the show (2 ver. for both songs in eng and jap.)
And he will appear in Episode 105.

TAKA from La’cryma Christi has starred in a movie called NOEL back in 2003. He’s also responsible for the soundtrack of the flick
Before that, in 1999 he had a role in a dorama called Tengoku no Kiss (天国のKiss)
And 20 years ago he was regular in an obscure horror dorama called 切なく泣ける「恐い話」
After that he appeared in 4 stage plays, but there’s been no acting with his involvement since 2009.
Other notable gigs include a TV show called Heart Rock cafe, for which he was a moderator.

One of my favorite singers of the 90’s vk. I never had the chance to see his acting talent at the screen.

I’ve already mentioned here ゴールデンボンバー (Golden Bomber)’s collabs with the anime and tokusatsu genres, but the band as a whole has also appeared in some movies and doramas. The 1st one is called 剃り残した夏 (Sori Nokoshita Natsu) from 2009, when they were nobodies, which justifies the awful quality of the self-made flick, even though it’s a parody/spoof of BL clichés
In 2015 they appeared in a short called HiGH＆LOW〜THE STORY OF S.W.O.R.D.〜, this time with with good production values and audience/critic reviews and have proceeded to appear in some other instances of the HiGH＆LOW multimedia franchise
The whole band also appear for less than a minute as themselves in the 8th episode of a dorama called 49.
Since then Kyan Yutaka (喜矢武豊) has been acting a lot. He’s acted in 16 other doramas and 12 movies so far. He’s a protagonist of 2 of these films:
死ガ二人ヲワカツマデ… 第一章 色ノナイ青 (Shi ga Futari wo Wakatsu Made: Iro no nai ao)
& 日本統一外伝 〜山崎一門8〜 (Nihon Toitsu Gaiden: Yamazaki Ichimon 8)
Besides being a regular on the popular variety shows 復活！ 風雲！たけし城 (Takeshi’s Castle) and サスケ (SASUKE Ninja Warrior) with 鬼龍院翔 (Kiryuin Sho), who is also a regular on another variety show called クイズ!THE違和感 パイロット版第2回 (Quiz! The Iwakan Pilot 2)
And from 2013 to 2020 Utahiroba Jun (歌広場淳) had Talk Show called 淳子の部屋 (Junko no Heya) where he interviewed different members of visual kei bands.

Kera model AKIRA, who used to sing in an all female VK band called DISACODE, made her acting debut in a 2012 movie called 愛を歌うより俺に溺れろ! (Ai wo Utau Yori Ore ni Oborero!), in which she plays the singer of a fictional band called Blaue Rozen, which ain’t VK, but they show an audience of mostly gyarus attending their gig in the flick and they released an actual single to promote the film:

Man, I was never really into Golden Bomber’s music but I LOVED their stupid movie.
It was so bad, so terribly shot, the acting was awful, but I just loved it so much. I remember downloading it in like 6 .zip files off livejournal and watching it on my mp4 player… except that the file got corrupted and I could only see half the screen and hear the audio.
I even wrote about it in middle school when we had to write a report about a movie we watched. My English teacher called me out in front of the whole class and said, “Ruka, is this supposed to be a gay movie? What is this?” And I was like yah. Then she was like “Well, that’s fine, but men can’t get pregnant.” Good times.
