Thought I’d open a new thread here for wholesome or funny/interesting posts by vkei bandmen on social media and/or funny wholesome interactions between them.

Wanted to do this as my For You feed on X/Twitter hasn’t been showing up posts the way I want to lately and life has been lifeing, so I thought this would be a good avenue for folks and I to share good vibes from the bands and bandmen we love! Of course, if the posts are more suited for other threads like the meme thread please consider those as well.

To start, a great number of vkei bassists gathered for their annual bounenkai, a year-end party. A few of those in attendance have retweeted the photo. Can you spot your favourite bassist in there?

As a Nightmare fan boy I can easily find Ni~ya. But as I don’t closely follow any other band (except The Gazette but yk…) I don’t recognize any others

You guys are right I believe! I can’t recall which band Zero is in but I think he’s in there.

I wonder, if we can get together all of them and someone could put the names right to the respective bassist. I don’t recognize most, so the “A next to B” does barely work for me.

That’s a great idea, and you are right I am so sorry about that!

And with impeccable timing, I too can’t identify Zero from the crowd too oops HAHAHA could you point him out for me?

I do need help identifying some folks, but yes will probably start with making a neat list with those that I can and add it to the OG post. Thank you again!

I can’t seem to find it but there was a tweet Daiki posted or commented on about kanta (deviloof )getting nervous when staring at Sena 's (jiluka) lush legs. Kanta going on about some 16th century English scientist or something.

Some of your favourite bandmen may be hanging out with a group of equally cool bandmen for this awesome little series of gatherings - photos of their gatherings and even talk events are announced on this particular X account.

They call these gatherings Yakatabunekai (party boat meeting (?). I think some of these gatherings do take place on the yakatabune, but I’m not entirely familiar with that or origins of these meetups.

Here’s the latest, with everyone very warm and bundled up. Some of the usual folks include Sakito (Nightmare, Jakigan Meister) Ryutaro (plastic tree) Aie (the god and death stars, gibiky gibiky gibiky, deadman), and Yusuke (lynch.) …and many more. Spot anyone you recognise?
