Dissolving classroom is great. I’m big fan of Junji Ito and horror and bizarre manga in general.
Next one I’m going to read is this one
Fihi ma fihi
Nice!! I’ve got that one and Venus in the Blind Spot in my to-read pile. Collecting his work is a lot of fun, even if Viz just can’t stop themselves from including Amigara Fault in every release.
I’m currently reading Sandworm by Andy Greenberg. It’s a true crime book about a cyber attack on Ukraine a few years ago, which was the most devastating cyber attack in history. I haven’t gotten that far yet, but so far it seems really interesting. I’m not usually into true crime, but anything to do with hackers is a huge yes for me!
Currently making my way through an absolutely bangin’ hardcover collection of '70s Savage Sword of Conan comics. I just love the monumental black & white art style coupled with the somewhat ridiculous pulpy nature of these little tales (i.e. Conan stumbles into some sort of commotion, saves the girl, beats everyone, the end
).
I’m reading this. Dragon head

Currently powering through Yukio Mishima’s Spring Snow. This is my third attempt at reading this book and goddammit I will succeed!
Somehow I always lost interest after the first 60-70 pages previously, but now I’m more than halfway through. It’s…okay I guess? Has some interesting ideas and conversations here and there, but ultimately I’m kinda indifferent towards most of the characters and what happens to them.
I really liked this one. The author has written quite a few enjoyable horror anthologies, although I’m not sure if the more recent ones have been translated. Definitely my favorite Japanese author.
Now I’m going to read this. I have never read anything from this series but I’ve heard good things about it. This is the only book I could get my hands on
I just finished the first trade paperback of the Paper Girls comics, loved it!!! Cool mysterious plot so far and a kickass art style. Hoping to buy the rest of the volumes as soon as they release them over here.
Currently making my way through Crossbone Gundam and plan to move onto Dust, Ghost, Skull Heart, Steel Seven, X-11 before moving onto the AC and finishing New Mobile Report Gundam Wing Dual Story: G-Unit before moving onto Mobile Suit Gundam Wing Endless Waltz: Glory of the Losers.
Was catching up on Kakegurui the other day, and wow, the BL vibe is even more intense than I imagined in the Rin/Ibara match. Finally. It was worth the wait.
I received the first volume of the Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin manga
and today I started reading GIGANT which I thought for sure would just be ecchi, but it’s a series by the GANTZ guy so it’s not what you’d expect even if the premise is a guy meeting his favorite AV actress.
I got the bug last night and read 20 volumes of the GANTZ manga last night, Jesus even more bizarre than I remembered when it came out.
Finished all 37 volumes of GANTZ and was wholly let down by the ending.
Read chainsawman and fire punch afterwards. I have to wonder what’s going on in fujimoto’s mind lmao.
His one shot Lookback is definitely one of the best manga of this year and probably one of the best in recent years.
I loved Chainsaw Man, wish they’d make a sequel.
