My 3rd win against Everdark Libra in 18 runs. This Duchess carried the entire party and soloed the boss after everyone was down since it still had 50% of the HP bar left. The Everdark Libra boss fight is already insane, but this Duchess’ skills are even more.

For an average player like me, the win rate for this boss fight is way too low. Probably around only 10-15%. Someone has fought him around 20 times already and still hasn’t won once.

Just started playing Granblue Fantasy: Relink not too long ago. I bought the game almost a year ago, but just never had the time to invest in it until now. I’m glad that I finally took the plunge tho, because it’s been a fantastic experience so far. As a casual gamer, I appreciate that the gameplay is engaging without being overly technical, and that the game is also challenging enough to be exciting, without veering into the frustratingly difficult.

Basically, it’s a lot of fun.

My 4th and 5th win against Everdark Libra. First time as Duchess. Bleed build with Arcane +8 to take him down. The difficulty is insane especially in 3-player mode.

I saw someone with almost 100 attempts to beat Everdark Libra, but still hasn’t won even once. A great respect for his efforts.

Beat Everdark Gladius with these guys. It’s such a fun boss fight. If my Duchess hadn’t died in one hit, it would have been a deathless run for the entire party.

Somehow my fixation roulette wheel landed on Zelda. I’ve recently replayed Ocarina of Time, played Minish Cap for the first time, and now I’m onto Echoes of Wisdom. Minish Cap was really cool! The structure and size of the game was so pleasant, and it’s peak GBA aesthetic. Not my new favorite in the series necessarily, but a standout entry. It may be the best handheld, but A Link Between Worlds is stiff competition.

I’ve only done one rift in Echoes of Wisdom so it’s too early to say, but I am enjoying it. I think I would like the next top-down Zelda to change up the art style though - this is a positive iteration of the Link’s Awakening Remake look, but I’m just not big on that style in the first place. It’s cute, but they could do better. The handhelds were aping the Wind Waker aesthetic for quite a while. Now that they have the capability to just do that style 1:1 in this format…maybe do that, or at least something with that kind of fluidity and style. There is some nice set dressing and background detail in Echoes, and the performance is good (on Switch 2 lol), I’m just done with the toy box look.

But that’s a silly hangup in the grand scheme of things. Zelda is cute in this game, I like the companion character, the sense of adventure and focus on puzzle solving highlights the stronger aspects of the series in my eyes. Link is canonically mute in this one and I think that’s neat. So far so good!

Got myself a SNES console with Secret of Evermore and Terranigma and currently I am reliving my childhood all over again. Two masterpiece games that I adore deeply!

Now I need to find copies of Illusion of Gaia/Time, Breath of Fire II, Zelda III, Super Metroid and Lufia II😅

First time beating Everdark Libra without dying. Evergaol build with some passive sorcery and incantation buffs. 11 Starlight Shards were used in this single boss fight and 6 HP Flasks left.

If I hadn’t gotten hit by a Leonine Misbegotten boss at level 1, it would have been a deathless run lmao.

I’ve been putting way too many hours into Mario Kart World, particularly with the free roam mode and p-switch missions. The trick mechanics (wall ride + grind) are super satisfying to pull off. I’ve been getting in a bit of Donkey Kong Bananza as well.

Just beat Everdark Libra with 2 people in trio mode. A Wylder left after the day 1 boss, but this Ironeye and I kept playing. The win rate is usually low with 3 people, but we both managed to beat him eventually.

I never knew that Vyke’s War Spear was this powerful against Libra. I used it to melt around 80% of his HP bar and died at the end, but the Ironeye was able to finish him fortunately. What a brutal run!

Edit: I just realized that the bosses’ HP scales down when a player has left the session to keep the difficulty balanced.

Nighreign every day. Almost 440 hours in.

A deathless run beating Everdark Gladius with 2 players in trio mode. An Executor left as soon as the game started, but a Wylder and I continued playing till the end without dying even once.

It’s difficult to farm Sigils from Everdark Libra. Otherwise, I would have a bit more. But this should be plenty for the long term, hopefully. I have spent most of my Murks on gacha, but it’s worth it.

My current go-to relics for Revenant for any bosses. My Revenant will be happy every time there is a Township in Limveld so that she can have a bunch of Starlight Shards.

Beating Everdark Libra with ones of the best weapons I could have for a run. This Executor let me have his Rivers of Blood in exchange for Starscourge Greatsword lmao.

I’ve been doing a little bit of exploring in Nod Krai in Genshin. It’s a pretty fun place so far. I love the atmosphere of it as it’s almost a complete 180 from the last region. I’m definitely looking forward to some of the upcoming characters, primarily Varka since he has been hyped up for a long time

I’ve been playing Nightreign Deep of Night mode and I need one more win to reach Depth 3. Just beat Gladius with no damage taken in Depth 2. Playing as Duchess in this mode is like getting either one shot or no damage at all. I always play in trio mode with randoms which is the hardest on top of it lmao.

Hopefully, I will reach Depth 4 and 5 soon. The damage in Depth 5 is insane where almost everything can one shot you. From what it looks, it’s probably even harder than NG+7 in the main game and the DLC.

Recently started playing Honkai Star Rail (against my best judgment since I hate myself for playing Genshin). Also playing Silksong.

Same here and I’m so frustrated! I got to Depth 3 and then lost 400 points and deranked back to 2 because my friend got disconnected and I decided to die at the first boss to rejoin him and they removed 400 points from me which I thought was a lot. There was also a run where we won and I got 0 points and also a run where we won and I lost 200 points. I don’t understand if it’s a bug or how the points system works…. Anyway, last night I deranked again back to Depth 2 lmfao. Playing with randoms is frustrating.

I’ve been playing Fear & Hunger 2 recently. I’m usually not really into games where you have to die and redo everything a bunch of times to figure things out, but it’s designed in a way that makes it pretty fun to restart. Having such a big selection of playable characters, in particular, helps to keep it fresh. The main thing that feels kind of tedious is having to loot all the items again each time, but I guess that’s partially offset by them being randomized, so you get that gacha thrill each time you click on something.

Just started playing No Man’s Sky. Quite overwhelmed with information as a beginner due to steep learning curve but base on reviews once you get the hang of it becomes addictive. Anyone playing this game?

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater anyone?

My first win in Depth 3. Bad RNG but great teammates, fortunately. Guess I can handle the difficulty in Depth 3 just fine. I heard that Depth 4 is a significant increase.

@Coyote The penalty is pretty brutal TBH. No idea how they calculate the points either, but it’s also based on how well you play in the session, such as dying or reviving friends multiple times. 400 sure is a lot. It’s worth 2 sessions at least. You have to win more than lose to climb up to the next Depth. I feel you that it’s no point in continuing playing alone in duo/trio mode when someone gets disconnected. You have to either leave or die at the night 1 boss to end the session and forcibly get your points deducted. :sob:

Currently playing Nier Replicant (I just finished Nier Automata a month ago. I’ve had the game for more than a year but only recently played it).

Right now I’m switching between Zelda II and Animal Crossing New Horizons. The former is v hard but playing on NSO makes it a lot more manageable. I like it a lot, I’m on the final dungeon. Gonna try to not get stuck on the last section like I’ve always done with the original game!

I apparently didn’t touch Animal Crossing for 5 years and 3 months. I don’t love this entry, but it’s the kind of game I need right now. I want to see what this one has to offer & build my town/crew of villagers to a point where I’m satisfied. If I still want more Animal Crossing after that I’ll probably start a new file in Wild World. I enjoy New Horizons, it has stuff to do, but the older games feel more alive.
