I prefer the OG but Acid Black Cherrys is the best!

I miss Kozo Murashita dearly and it’s so sad how he died…
That’s gotta be one of the best Vkei covers out there.

MUCC do some pretty good covers because they seem to add excerpts of other songs:
If you listen to their cover of D’erlanger’s La vie en rose, they throw in a bit from Incarnation of Eroticism after the first chorus (around 1:38)
They did something better when they covered Luna Sea’s Dejavu; the intro to the cover is literally the first track on Luna Sea’s album Image, which also leads to Dejavu.
I haven’t noticed it with other songs but Diru one upped them on their cover of D’erlanger’s Easy Make, Easy Mark, where they’ve thrown in Under the Pretense in the intro and an excerpt of Sadistic Emotion at the end.
I love HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR’s cover of ROSIER. H&MC was one of my first jrock bands I ever listened to as a kid and hearing Yusuke’s vocals with one of my favorite Luna Sea songs is just so good.
