キズ (KIZU)

Those who keep up with Kizu looks - did Lime had one without a white face makeup?

I think no, but Reiki I think has all his looks with a white face too, so Lime is not alone .

Also thank you Lime for finally releasing your hair from jail.

kyonosuke is the only one who’s looks have always had some sort of full-color face, be it white, black, blue, glitter or whatever else.

reiki and lime do have white faces 90% of the time but there are a few shoots where they don’t. ex:

in terms of facepaint amount, kyonosuke > reiki > lime >>>>>>>>>>>>>> yue

i hope this is a sign that the braids wont come back!!! he’s had them off in various events and stuff the past 2 or so years but they always came back during photoshoots…

Oh shit, the braids are gone. That wig ain’t shit tho.

that’s his real hair actually,lol!

also quoting someone else, this is the “lightest” his makeup ever was (as in kizu)

why would it be a wig? having braids like his requires a lot of hair lol (not that it’s even that long…)

another photo from that here:

and for anyone as curious about me about bandmen without makeup, one without (seemingly) any makeup or filters, though with sunglasses here:

Wow that sounds bad. To be honest, I think production varies per venue and would depend on if they brought their recording equipment. I’ve been to live shows of the same band before in different venues and recording quality in some cases sounds drastically different

Lime about RED MV in Rock and Read:

However, the music video didn’t turn out the way I wanted. To be honest, it ended up as something I can’t really grow to like. I was agonizing until the very last moment over whether we should release it or not. There’s some generative AI used in it, and after the release there were a lot of comments saying “Don’t use AI.” But I actually felt the same way myself, so that reaction made me happy in a strange way. I personally feel uncomfortable with us using AI.

Bullying works!

I always hated the notion that “bullying works” when someone changes their stance or gives more context. It lets me know a lot of outcry isn’t rooted in anything productive besides bandwagoning/hivemind behavior.

PV was horrible, and I’m glad he came to terms with it. Song still slaps, and the live performance? Chef’s kiss. Here’s to them doing better, even if doing better means taking their time to give us something of quality.

Thank you. I also thought it was not “bullying working”. He probably felt pressured to use AI because everywere your hear “if you don’t get on now, you will lose fans/customers”. And he just expressed relieve about his gut feeling being right that the fans don’t demand AI. Good for him. Very happy because they are great artists.

It’s awfully strange that all these Free Will -affiliated bands adopted AI almost simultaneously and I think Kizu’s swing at it was the best one out of the bunch largely due to how over the top it was. It’ll look tacky in retrospect but at least it was, pardon the expression, monumental, compared to Dir en grey’s more lowkey introduction of AI generated videos to be played in the background for their shows that are so spectacularly mid and make no use of the “medium” beside being a cost-cutting measure for the production team.

I forgot The Devil In Me PV, but I think I just subconsciously chose to forget it.

My respect for Lime keeps growing so much for admitting it was a wrong move to go ahead with it. By the phrasing I feel like the label wanted AI more than he did? Saying nothing would have been easier but he tried something new, saw it failed, and took a stance against it.

I don’t usually watch their MVs anyway, I think they’re often too disjointed and too visually busy so not liking this MV much isn’t a big issue for me. Almost all their lives are beautifully shot and they’re so satisfying to watch. R/E/D live version is no exception!

The braids era might’ve just lasted a tad bit too long, but that’s also the period when their activity slowed down in general. I was recently reminded of how quickly their first four to five singles came out and in that time they had shit to prove and the looks, lives and songs kept coming.
