I am a fan of erotic role plays, the whole thing which turns this stuff hot is the fact that you have somewhere else in the world someone who shares the same desire, and your wants embrace connect and form into a trashy masterpiece of the love/friendship of each other.
AI can never replace this connection you feel to such art.
I have just discovered that Kamijo used AI to create the shots of a destroyed city for the movie thingy that came with Violet Dawn and I am devastated 
Inugami Circus-dan have used AI for the lyrics of two of their latest songs.
I have already in the past said that this will happen but that the first group I will hear of doing it being Inugami Circus Dan, I am devasted.
(Doing it ironic still does not save you from the possible backlash from the use of AI)
I’m not convinced about the truth to this “parody” and “experiment” claim.
I get that bands with not much money rely on AI for artwork. Obviously I prefer artwork from real artists, but I can understand why they do it. But lyrics?! No. Same goes for instruments. Musicians who use this are making themselves obsolete.
I also listen to gothic and lately there was some talk in the scene about a complete AI goth “band” (“Goth mit uns”). The whole music, the artwork, the biography - everything AI. As fas ar I know, some goth musician(s) is behind this project but nobody knows who.
If you would not know that the music is all AI you would think it’s real. But it does sound very average and not special at all. It’s both interesting and frightening.
Out of couriousity I gave that a listen. Man I hope these are AI lyrics … because they are really not very good. I would choose broken vk english over this every day. 
I guess the music works for being played in a disco, but I would not listen to that very generic attempt of music. But at least they never really made a secret out of being an AI project. That’s much better imho than trying to sell AI stuff (art, music, lyrics, whatever) as the real thing.
With the newest AI abdomination from Sukekiyo I keep wondering why it seems so popular in vk. I would be more understanding if it look decent. At least I would get the argument of it being cheaper. But honestly in 99% of the cases it looks so cheaply bad, doing something in microsoft paint would have been better. Yes it would have looked cheap as well but at least rhey would not fuck over other artists. Maybe they are thinking the weird look of AI fits “visual shock” but honestly nothing about using AI is shocking or challanging social norms. It’s the new trend everyone is following. So disappointing…
Seems like they’re even actually considering it as a selling point… at least the English version of the official website is really trying to hype it up as this great artistic thing.

Kyo is a trendsetter in vk so there’s a good chance a whole bunch of other bands are also gonna start using AI as an aesthetic, not just filler…

Besides it being ugly af, I’m not 100% sure if it’s AI. The finger looks weird and so do some other details. The highlights in the hair are definitely done (added??) by hand though.
