I’m kinda surprised that they are going to the 100% pop rock mood, but I enjoyed every second of it
Ahh so everything but MAD GAME is actually quite listenable… lmao. I wonder, did they choose the “heavy” track on the album to feature in an attempt to keep attention from DDRMs fanbase? Either way this seems like it will be worth the listen after all !
I’m absolutely here for grafitti days.
Sounds like Neverland, I love it.
Okay, those previews sound pretty neat.
I felt some xTRiPx vibes
damn right boii lets goooo!!!
Oke this ain’t that bad
At least I know to skip MAD GAME now
Those 3rd and 4th tracks have me excited, everything else is very forgettable but very marketable pop punk except for the chaos that is Mad Game. Some interesting choices being made here, curious to hear more about who is composing exactly and what the vibe they’re going for is, because to me it feels like they discovered late 2000s-early 2010s emo/scene style and just decided “yeah let’s do that”.
I was sort of on board with this band when their first PV came out, but this one just made all my initial optimism completely shrivel up and die, lmao…
They can keep this happy-go-lucky normie synth-squeak garbage.
Totally agree.
Really basic stuff that, in my opinion, doesn’t fit a band with 10 years of experience that like every member has.
If that’s what they want to play — sure, but the song is more fitting for newbie nobodies
Love it! I was waiting for a band like this. I feel like what we call “oshare kei” has being soooo stereotyped with “PIEN PIEN” "OSHI stuff, I’m so glad theres a good pop rock/punk pop new band to follow.
Love the song, love the video… I’m so ready for it! Just give me this EP right now!
I actually like this a fair bit more than the comments prepared me for. A lot of nice instrumentals, his voice is pleasant, it has a feel that doesn’t really fit into another band’s specific niche.
Song is really well-written, especially considering how all-over-the-place the first track they released was. Will look forward to the whole thing.
I would like it better if there wasn’t those electro (synth?) parts in the beginning.
I agree with ritsu, I could vibe with this if I consider them as oshare.
Eh. The synth parts at the beginning were a bit of a turnoff for me, but it got a bit better further into the song.
Their 1st concert 「ザ・ファーストリップ」will be live broadcasted!
Tickets are already on sale in ZAIKO and LIVXE:
(I personally recommend ZAIKO! I have no experience with the another one.)
pretty cool! Absolutely feels like something Neverland would be releasing if they were still around, and I’m fine with that.
There’s something interesting in the mix here, every instrument feels real for once, and thats something
crazy (as in “mental asylum bound”, not “much groundbreaking so fresh wow”) debut song aside, they’re following initial L formula to a t… which stands out as so odd to me since initial l are pretty much pronounced dead and irrelevant at this point.
Why that, tho?
Maybe if you were expecting a DADAROMA 2.0, but the band sounds exactly like Neverland did. I don’t see they going to anywhere else than this so the comparison doesn’t make any sense to me hahahahaa.
