Yeah its not bad but definitely has a filler feeling.
I wonder why it literally seems impossible for these new jrock/vk bands to write really catchy and memorable music…?

Outside of the chorus it’s perfectly forgivable Chiaki-rehash melody but then it does push that a bit. No, I actually quite like the song and it does better to remind me of older DEZERT style than the last few single tracks they’ve released with the emphasis on just “heaviness” to that effect, anyone?
These previews sound tragic, wow…
I miss old dezert. Some of these songs sound cut and paste
nobody would even book them for anime openings with this
I’ve tried many times to get into dezert. with this I can safely say that im good without them
The melodies are quite nice (I imagine they’re showing all the choruses in this preview) but it’s a bit dull imo. It’s night and day from the atmosphere, tension and creativity old DEZERT songs had.
This sounds really really good. (still surprised that so many people backed up and turned negative after they went major). Down for this new album for sure.
lmao as if that did not happen before this unfortunate major debut, browse through older posts about dezert
I’m a fan of major dezert, but this new album sounds all the same. A couple of tracks make me think “I wanna listen to the full song”, and most of it isn’t offensive, but yeah…meh.
Yeah, they’ve been sounding like various degrees of washed-up blandness ever since like 2017-2018… Not that it’s an inherently bad thing but the change was too jarring for me and I can’t take them seriously anymore.
When I first discovered DEZERT,they kinda reminded me of Plastic Tree
I’ve always thought Chiaki looked a bit like Ryutaro
Not a big fan of the latest song, but I went back through their recent PVs and actually found myself liking them quite a bit more than before.
They’re still heavy, just lack that screaming that made them so good early on. Their kind of like Kizu in that way; heavy music, no screaming.
Honestly that’s not too bad. I feel like some bands just do the screaming because it’s kinda exspected. I don’t mind it but I also like some good old heavy music without someone screaming in my ears.
For me this is more reason to go see them live for this album.
