Definitely everyone is reading into where the title came from. Like i said, angsty teens could have come up with a title like that and am sure it has been used a billion times and now Dir are adding another one to that. Just go to discogs and check out how many releases already have this title… haha

Shinya and Kyo are

Fun fact: the gap between the previous single (not the debut remake, obv) and this one marks the longest in DEG single history
Two years, eleven months and 27 days, or 1092 days in total since the release of Oboro

Shortest one is JESSICA → embryo, one month and five days, or 35 days in total, in late 2001

For albums, it’s ARCHE → TIW, three years, nine months and 16 days, or 1386 days in total (but TIW → PHALARIS is very close with 1358 days)
and of course GAUZE → MACABRE is the shortest, one year, one month and 23 days, or 420 days in total

They decided to troll the fans. Genius ideas from the local izakaya.
Or the label prepared the song for them without discussing it with them first, and they are pissed…

The questions are many

nah, it’s just a cute marketing gimmick

They are trying to gather attention tweeting as the new song will be a bit different than the usual. They will probably keep doing “what the new song will sound like?” shtick for a while

Perhaps it will be a Blackened Progressive Symphonic Grindcore with Trap and Visual Kei influence type of song?

please look forward to it

My personal bet it’s gonna be an brazillian phonk

Sounds like Dynamite Tommy is exploiting the boys to dig himself out of debt again. I think we all know who the real Devil here is

doesnt sound like something deg would do still. Sounds like something a group of teenage tiktokers would come up with to promote some crap.

I think it’s okay for dir en grey to be silly little guys sometimes

Probably. People keep saying the band is trolling us. It seems to me that it’s more of a marketing tactic to get fans talking, hence increasing engagement via hype.

It’ll be another Luna Sea-esque ballad in 6/8.

Yeah, just think its them hinting it may be something a little out of the ordinary. Or theyre just trolling and its just going to sound like something from the Vulgar era or something. Haha
