I don’t like THIS kind of vkei (I said before I’m traumatised by this culture and especially vkei fans, aggressive people should be isolated…), but Midorikawa’s YouTube channel is so… kind? Idk… his videos with granny and random children makes me smile. It’s cool… it’s cool to be kind! I wish all the vkei people both musicians and fans will learn it.

I’m just gonna assume that the rumors about them being rude to their fans were wrong then. ( not that I was 100 pr cent believing it either ) Cuz as you said, what I see in the videos shows them in a pretty good light. But there is still something that is bothering me about them and idk how to explain it 
It’s like their whole concept is not supposed to be taken seriously and that they try too hard to be mainstream.

I hate this band with every fiber I have. Every time their member appears on my twitter or youtube I scroll away really fast like running away from a disease 
Music is bad, live performance is ultra bad. I would understand if the band is less than 3 years of being active, but when I compare their early live footage and the recent ones….just….no. The vocal hurts my ear. I would appreciate if he even tries to improve his vocal, but it doesn’t seem so.
On top of that the youtube content is cringe omg. I can list a bunch of examples since I tried watching a lot of their videos so I could hate them less but they just built up my hatred
Also, the most cringey thing they refer themselves is ‘the most buzzed vkei band on social media’

I find his voice lacks power and is very repetitive.
the vocalist is definitely soso but ok, but the other musicians are skilled tho, that’s what makes it worse in a certain way. You could make great serious music and instead you choose to… anyway lol
take that with a bottle ! of salt, but It was something related to them being super rude to the fans who couldn’t do the furitsuke correctly, even sacking them from the live blah blah blah That’s what I actually remember. If it’s true, and even if it’s not, the thing is that with their Youtube content, it feels quite like.. a sect ? Idk it’s super orchestrated, and takes out all the fun and natural out of the whole thing and I don’t like it.

They were nice enough when I met them by chance, but it could be different in other scenarios. They are kind of a gimmick heavy band, so everything is about finding something new to make a video or live show out of.

I suppose I might be part of the problem but I really don’t see it. Sure there are a few weirdos in every fandom (like the one mentioned above) but for the most part I have found other lambs very kind and respectful. Towards him as well as each other, both online and off.
This is wild to me. I get that tastes are different but untalented? Nasty? Plastic? Saccharine is not really a word I would use either since his art is mostly tragic and definitely not sweet. But I suppose I can kind of see how someone would think that, he is dramatic 
As for my own unreasonable dislikes, I recently saw Hitchcock live and while I didn’t really have an opinion on them before, the live definitely did not make a positive impression. I feel like seeing people simp over them online now makes me unreasonably annoyed even though I don’t really have a reason to actually hate them

I have a personal question to a certain bandoman who said that “this event is PROHIBITED for photo and video, I will claim this and staff is warned” (that was event hosted by the other band and we all knew that they are absolutely okay with photo and video and even asked them twice that day, lol)
I know that my rage is irrational but there is a gap between “don’t film my performance!” and “don’t film the event!”. Me and the others, who came to see performing friends and spouses, were the same feeling that day so one of them said that “that guy was boring, I’m happy I’ll never see him again”

Not the only band I “ heard “ this about, but, it’s not shocking. it’s up to fans as well to not make the genre and bands their whole personality and keep in a part of their mind that they’re human just like us ( I’m also very happy I was in my most hysteric delulu VK phase when I was a broke middle schooler and not now that I am an adult with a salary ) ( I support my favourite bands but responsibly )

Tbh when this band started out they were rather interesting but then they fell off super hard for me at some point in 2018?? 2020??? Don’t remember. Thier style eventually grew stale for me.
I wont lie they do tend to have some random songs that just make me question life and how i got here but ya know vkei does that sometimes lol

I do dislike them now. Eventually i removed most of thier stuff from my phone prob only have a select few songs now lol

Somehow I never met another hardcore Kamijo fan back then. I suppose I wasn’t active enough online so I have been completely oblivious. I wonder why he would be the one with enough insane fans to develop a whole reputation. Surely there are other bandmen who would make a better target for that? To me he was always someone I respected too much to quite fangirl over the same way I did my other favourites when I was teen. I mean I still did (do ) but never the way described here.

they had a great bassist. but the vocalist is like the worst that we got in the scene (which still got somewhat popular) I once found also a live performance of the group on youtube, and like. it is the worst. his voice is simply unpleasing which lacks the playfulness initiative and expression like Batsu have to give it any redeeming qualities. Gozenreijis vocalist can not even scream (beside literally screaming a few times into mic, but no technique at all. beside 3 good songs everything else is the worst of filler material

鮮血A子ちゃん
If there was one band that I believe is over hyped to the max, it’s 鮮血A子ちゃん. I’m a music first visual kei fan. 鮮血A子ちゃん is what happens when maladjusted men turn to music instead of therapy and aren’t very good at the music bit. Whatever they call music is very abrasive. I do not care for the vocalist. His singing voice ranges from flat to irritating, depending on the song, and his harsh vocals are just okay. Nothing to write home about. Every track sounds like it’s being held together with willpower and duct tape, daring to fall off the rails at any chance. Maybe that’s appealing to some people but not to me. Absolutely dreadful.
I have to put this video in the background as I listen to it because I’m legitimately embarrassed to have this collection of pixels grace my screen. I’m not sure which part is worse - the DDLC happy bits or the awkward heavy sections. It’s all the equivalent of nails on a chalkboard.
This might be the most passable of the three songs I’ve supplied in this post, and I still find the vocalist dreadfully unbearable. The only thing I remember is the piano loop, which while catchy does not justify having to listen to this track twice so I could type a short opinion about it.
It doesn’t help that menhera doesn’t click with me. Never has and never will. There’s a line it crosses that doesn’t sit right with me - by glorifying mental instability and doing fuck all to address it in a healthy manner - and this band is way over that line. I’ve read reports that indicate the vocalist is actually about that life, which makes me feel twice as uncomfortable. This music isn’t landing in any visual kei hall of fame and in five years after their disbandment, I’ll be shocked if there’s anyone that actually jacks them because of their music and not some para social attachment based off Twitter posts and personal interpretations of music videos. I’d also double down on my original sentiment because there’s a fascination with cosplaying as an unstable high school student with a knife and bloody bandages fetish and not deviating from this image at all leaves me equal parts dismissive and disinterested. Get a new look.
So yeah, hype totally lost on me. Maybe people attach to these guys because of activities outside of their music, but as far as their music goes? Dog water.
