Groups or artists that you have an irrational dislike or hatred of?

now, like, imagine that lady has a twin in every country, every language and every generation where vk ever had a presence. that is the diehard kamijo stan archetype for you, lol.

I know this is an old reply but I’m new to the forum, so excuse my late opinion.
Just wanted to say that I agree, and btw. I feel the same way about Ricko via his interaction with Sena, as Ricko clearly was the class clown all his life and feels the need to act like one in adulthood too, they are such a cringe together.
YouTube kept recommending me videos where they play childish games, like catching insects etc. - I ended up having to select the “Don’t recommend channel” on Sena’s videos. Utter cringefest :grimacing:

An opinion is never too late nor to early, it comes at the right time it’s meant to be

I never got a lot of Ricki on my timeline on Twitter or Instagram tbh, so I never noticed hi
but on Twitter I constantly had Sena at one point, in my for you page, that became pretty annoying

And then I have to admit… I don’t like the way he portrays himself

I agree.
His Instagram is next level, I just had a look :flushed: :exploding_head:

No doubt he is fuelled by the comments though.

人格ラヂオ. have no idea about the truth but left a bad impression on me that made me hate them.

and, any other bands who have tracks with Chinese lyrics. I literally suppose Chinese lyrics don’t fit rock or metal music at all.

Why do Chinese lyrics not work for you in rock/metal?

the syllables of Chinese language in rock or metal music just sound weird and cringy for me and I’m sure I’m not alone, at least some people around me also have the same idea. I thought the reason was that I understand Chinese at first due to my existence of somewhat exoticism, but I understand English and Japanese too, so that’s apparently not the case.

Fascinating. The Chinese rock and punk bands I’ve listened to, I’ve never really felt that sort of issue. But different strokes for different folks lol
Thank you for explaining it to me from your point of view!

I can understand this, but I don’t agree. I hear many of my Swedish friends echo that they find Swedish lyrics in rock to be cringe, and I – also a Swede – have always wondered why. Could it be that people find their first language too insular or clunky?

For the record, I really like 银色灰尘, 冷血动物, and other similar bands! Even the lyrics!

Or that some bands just stick to writing music the same way people who speak another language do, without any change. It sometimes works, depending on the style, but I feel English is way too rooted in classic rock, for instance, while punk or rap can be sung in many languages without sounding clumsy. Each language has its rhythm and melody, so you may have to adapt the music to find some sort of symbiosis.

You guys are getting pretty off topic by now, please go back to the topic again.

If you want to discuss languages in songs more
maybe this thread is suitable

otherwise feel free to open a new one

Irrational hatred of: Virtually any VK idol group. I don’t want to hear them, I don’t care to hear them. If I wanted to listen to Idol music, there are literally so many other professionally produced groups with 50 writers and producers on hand that are bound to churn out something catchy, if that’s all I want.

I get it’s irrational, because a lot of basic bitch VK bands are dime-a-dozen ghostwritten acts that are barely distinguishable from Idol groups, but at least they can mostly play their instruments.

I know this will be unpopular but … plastic tree… I just can’t listen to Ryutaro’s voice… it’s like nails on chalkboard to me. But their band name is funny. At least there is that.

This is what I think about Toshl voice, he really shines in the X songs I like (also live) but usually is just slightly irritating to hear him. specially in most ballads

When I first started listening to X Japan, Toshi’s voice gave me headaches, lol.
